the house fire is started when max holds a barbecue coz the easter parade is cancelled.. tom plays hide and seek with his friends and finds a box under OBs bed. in the box is some sparklers. he lights the sparklers.and then he finds some fireworks which catch fire. tom hides in his room where he is rscued by ben.
