    Exclamation Hollyoaks Spoilers 1st - 5th October 2012

Meanwhile, Hollyoaks fans can expect more turmoil for the Osbornes as Nancy goes into premature labour.

As Nancy (Jessica Fox) continues offering help to troubled Mitzeee Minniver in the coming days, her husband Darren grows increasingly concerned - reminding her that she needs to look after herself and their unborn baby.

Darren soon becomes distracted, however, which gives Nancy the perfect opportunity to ignore his advice and sneak out to see her on-the-run best friend.

When Nancy arrives to see Mitzeee (Rachel Shenton), she is startled as she suddenly starts experiencing pains. At first she tries to play them down, but when she is left in agony, it's clear that she'll have to be rushed to hospital.

With Nancy receiving emergency medical attention, the Osbornes soon hear confirmation that she is in labour - just 26 weeks into her pregnancy.

Soon afterwards, a concerned Darren stands by in surgery as the experts do all they can for Nancy and the baby. Will they both be okay?

Hollyoaks fans can look forward to explosive scenes next week as Walker's twisted revenge attempts reach shocking new heights.

Over the next few days, viewers will see that Walker (Neil Newbon) is still determined to make Brendan Brady (Emmett Scanlan) pay for what happened to his late brother - and will stop at nothing to even the score.

In a frightening showdown with his arch-enemy, Walker makes it clear that he plans to target Brendan's loved ones - leaving the frail nightclub owner with a tough and terrifying task on his hands as he battles to secure their safety.

When Brendan sees lilies on his sister Cheryl's car bonnet, he immediately recognises them as Walker's calling card and fears that the vehicle could be about to explode.

A desperate Brendan screams at Cheryl (Bronagh Waugh) to get out of the car, but when no explosion comes, it's apparent that she's not the one Walker is targeting at all…

Soon afterwards, Brendan is horrified to find Walker pointing a gun at the love of his life - Ste Hay (Kieron Richardson).

Brendan is desperate to protect his ex-lover, but in the frantic struggle that follows between him and Walker, the gun goes off and one character will be shot…

While the unlucky individual's identity is being kept firmly under wraps, we can confirm that even this shocking incident won't stop Walker in his tracks - as he soon includes Brendan's teenage son Declan (Jay Duffy) in his deadly plans.

The first Brendan hears of this is when he receives a phone call from Declan with only screams at the other end.

Walker's horrifying idea is to give Declan an overdose so Brendan gets a taste of his tragic ordeal with Cam, but viewers will have to wait and see whether Brendan can save his son in time.

With lots at stake in must-see episodes for Hollyoaks, one character won't make it through next week - but who is going to pay the ultimate price in the battle between Walker and Brendan?

Hollyoaks airs weeknights at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first-look screenings at 7pm on E4.

Hollyoaks star Emmett Scanlan has said that he hopes there is still a "crazy ride" ahead for his character Brendan Brady.

Brendan took centre stage with dark storylines in E4 spinoff Hollyoaks Later last week, but the drama is far from over for him as upcoming episodes see twisted Walker target his loved ones with shocking consequences.

Speaking to Digital Spy at the 2012 Inside Soap Awards last night (September 24), Scanlan hinted at what viewers can expect next from Brendan following his recent turmoil.

Scanlan explained: "I think it sticks to the truth of Hollyoaks Later, which is something I'm very proud of. It's the aftermath of everything - what's Brendan going to do now he knows that Walker's an undercover cop?

"Walker is the type of guy who's going to seek revenge. Not that he wants to kill Brendan, but he wants to make Brendan suffer for the rest of his life. So how's he going to do that? He's going to hit the people that Brendan cares about - those closest to him. That's Brendan's Achilles heel."

Of Brendan's long-term future, he continued: "This is the last furlong, it's the beginning of the end. I'm very proud of that and massive thanks to [series producer] Emma Smithwick, who's championed Brendan and pumped some blood back into him, made him dark and made him the person that he is - because she's made no excuses for who he is. I hope it's going to be a crazy ride."

Scanlan also discussed what the future could hold for Brendan and Ste Hay, who currently remain apart as Ste plans to marry Doug Carter.

He said: "It ain't over, that I can promise you. Steven's his one true love, and though I couldn't speak for Steven, Brendan's his one true love. You know, there's two types of love in this world - it's the one you end up with and the one you remember."

Scanlan was celebrating at last night's ceremony as he took home the prizes for 'Best Actor' and 'Best Bad Boy'.

The Inside Soap Awards, sponsored by online fashion retailer boohoo.com, were held at One Marylebone in London.

Hollyoaks star Emmett Scanlan has suggested that his character Brendan Brady needs to evolve following his recent dark storylines.

Brendan was recently at the centre of hard-hitting scenes in E4 spinoff Hollyoaks Later, which included the revelation that he was sexually abused by his father as a child.

Speaking in a new interview with the Daily Star, Scanlan continued to hint that Brendan's story is heading into its final chapters.

Scanlan commented: "I said to Emma Smithwick when she took over as show producer, 'Can we take him to a really dark place? I want to break boundaries'. She had already thought about that. She championed Brendan. She pumped blood back into him. What's going to happen in the last furlong is down to her.

"Brendan has reached a point now where there's no return. I think he's on his last legs. It's either become the man or get lost."

He continued: "Hollyoaks Later was the end of Brendan. You can't come back from that. I don't want to fall back into old patterns.

"It's time to Brendan to evolve, to sacrifice himself on the cross or to bow out."

Brendan will feature in even more dramatic scenes next week as twisted Walker follows through with his threats to target his loved ones.

Hollyoaks airs weeknights at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first look screenings at 7pm on E4.
