Meanwhile, Emmerdale's David Metcalfe and Alicia Gallagher bring their sham relationship to a close later this month.

When David (Matthew Wolfenden) returns from holiday with girlfriend Priya Sharma, he feels guilty as Alicia explains that she's had to tell Jacob about them 'splitting up'.

Monday

Robbie tells Megan that he saw Katie and Andy together and suspects something is going on between them. Megan asks Robbie not to tell Declan. However, Declan is shocked when Robbie lands Katie in it by telling him that she was with Andy rather than Chas yesterday. Declan heads off to the stables to find Katie, and is unimpressed to see how well she is getting on with Steve. Declan insists they talk and confronts her about Andy, but she accuses him of trying to control her. Katie then drops a bombshell when she admits that she isn't sure if she wants to save their marriage.

Later, Declan tells Megan that he thinks his marriage is over, but she insists that he should fight for it. Declan pleads with her to help him, so Megan tells Declan she is going nowhere. Robbie listens and feels utterly betrayed by Megan, as he had thought they were both about to leave the area forever.

Meanwhile, David and Priya return from their holiday. David feels guilty over Jacob when Alicia explains that she has had to tell him about them splitting up. David makes things worse for a heartbroken Alicia when he offers to talk to Jake as things won't have to change too much.

Later, Priya feels pushed out when Alicia brings Jacob over and David offers to cook tea for them. David finally takes Jacob to one side to explain the situation, but Jacob is upset, feeling that David won't want him around anymore. David reassures Jacob and unwittingly gives him fresh hope when he says that nothing is ruled out for the future.

Elsewhere, Nicola wants Thomas to go but Jimmy is determined not to back down, Thomas causes further problems at the garage when he gets under Cain's nose, Edna hides her alarm when she finds out that Tootsie needs more medication and Paddy is concerned at what's troubling her, while Dan guesses that Bob has feelings for Brenda and thinks he should give it a try with her.

Tuesday

Declan tries to make it up to Katie with a slap-up breakfast, and Katie can't help but smile when he vows to make her happy no matter what. At the same time, Megan is uncomfortable when Robbie finds out that the hotel deal has been signed off. In the office, Megan feels under pressure from Robbie and so transfers the money to her bank account. Moments later, however, she is floored when Declan explains that he wants to give her all the money she is owed from the festival with interest.

Declan hands Megan the cheque, but reels when Megan shows him that she has already transferred the money. Declan is furious and the pair argue. Megan explains that she came clean because she loves him, but she's in bits as Declan lays into her and she realises that she may have lost her brother for good.

Meanwhile, Debbie tells Cain that Sarah's latest results are really good. She adds that she won't have Sarah wanting for anything growing up, so needs to start earning some serious cash. Later, Debbie is happy that Charity and Jimmy have agreed the 'service and repair' contract for their vehicles with the garage, but she wants more. Cain is unimpressed as he watches Debbie flirt with courier rider Dom, but her agenda is work related.

Elsewhere, Pearl is back and suggests a catch up with Edna, Vanessa can sense that Edna doesn't like her much but vows to win her round, Alicia dreads the finality of everything as David suggests they don't announce their split but instead tell one person who can spread it, while Jimmy wants Nicola to give Thomas one more chance before sending him home.

Wednesday

Alicia and David prepare to tell people they're not together anymore. However, David is put out when Alicia milks it for sympathy. As word spreads, David realises that it's not quite going according to plan. David wants Priya to keep things quiet about them for a couple more weeks because of Jacob, but Jacob later spots them kissing and runs off crying.

At the same time, Robbie is angry as he sees that Megan is hesitating about leaving. Megan wants to talk to Declan first, so she hands back the cheque and suggests that it doesn't have to be the end. Before long, Declan and Megan tentatively agree to draw a line under everything, but they realise they need to speak to Katie and Robbie.

Soon afterwards, Declan breaks the news to Katie and Robbie that Megan is staying, but he assures them that it won't be like last time. He tells Robbie that he is welcome to stay too, but Robbie feels like he's been shafted. Megan insists to Katie that she wants to start again, promising not to involve her in any more games.

Elsewhere, Debbie feels in control again at the garage as she makes a deal with Dom and flirts with him in the process. Meeting Dom for a coffee, Debbie begins to hatch a plan. She later explains her idea about a sideline courier business to Cain and Charity.

Also today, Paddy complains to Marlon that Rhona and Vanessa are like two different people when they're together.

Thursday

David is gutted that Jacob is ignoring him. He doesn't see why Alicia and Jacob need to move out, but Alicia is adamant. David is further frustrated when Priya explains that it's making her feel like she's the one in the wrong. Priya insists that she is with David because she cares, not to get one over on Alicia.


Later in The Woolpack, sparks fly when Priya and Alicia antagonise each other. Alicia squares up to Priya, spoiling for a fight. Rishi steps in to stop the row, but insists that David and Priya should come clean with everyone about their relationship. Not long afterwards, Priya openly kisses David in the pub, but they're both unaware that Alicia is watching. Pollard then offers to put Alicia and Jacob up at the B&B.

Meanwhile, Cain is wary and keeps his eye on Dom as he watches him flirt with Debbie over a coffee. Debbie deliberately leads Dom on and they later meet again to discuss business over lunch. Debbie is intrigued and quizzes Dom about the courier business. Dom warns her not to get involved, hinting there is something dodgy going on - but Debbie is determined to find out what.

Debbie later learns that the courier business is involved in delivering drugs and offers Dom a way out, but he explains that it's not that easy. Debbie fills in Charity, who is taken aback by her daughter's hard attitude as she suggests that she will use Dom for what she can get.

Elsewhere, Megan is worried about Robbie as he isn't answering her calls, Vanessa calls round to Edna's and sees that Tootsie is in distress as she looks through the letterbox, while Steve is becoming weary of Bernice's plan to get Chas to sell her share of The Woolpack.

Charity thinks Debbie's plan to manipulate Dom is risky. She agrees to get involved, but insists that they need to get Cain on board. Cain believes Debbie is way out of her league with her plan, but she insists that she's going ahead with or without his help. Cain later tells Debbie that he's in on the plan, but worries further when Debbie goes to the pub to meet Dom.


At The Woolpack, Debbie is taken aback when Dom goes to kiss her. He apologises, but she leaves and he feels foolish. Cain follows Debbie out, but she warns him that she calls the shots and knows what she's doing. However, Cain worries that Debbie is not as in control as she's making out.

Meanwhile, David is troubled when Alicia tells him that she and Jacob are moving to the B&B and she will phone a solicitor tomorrow to talk about a divorce. Val reluctantly agrees to let Alicia and Jacob stay at the barn for a few days as the B&B is full, but she is unimpressed when Pollard explains that it was a sham marriage. Jacob is not happy living at the barn and Val fumes to Pollard, who wonders if he has done the right thing. Later, Val loses patience with Jacob, telling him that Alicia and David both love him and there are people worse off than he is.

Elsewhere, Priya is irked when David explains that he wants her to be nice to Alicia, Robbie is torn as Megan begs him not to leave, Declan and Kerry get jealous over how close Andy and Katie are at the pub, while Steve gives Bernice an idea by suggesting that she should start being nice to Chas if she wants a chance of buying her out.

Friday

Cain is worried as the gravity of what they're about to do dawns on him and Charity, but she tells him they'll just have to make sure they don't mess up. Soon afterwards, parked up outside the courier's office, they get the signal to proceed with the plan and Charity makes a phone call as they sit and wait to see the action unfold. Cain and Charity watch as the police raid the firm, but Cain worries when Dom arrives. Charity is relieved when Dom sees the police and then rides off at speed.

Later in The Woolpack, Dom tells the Dingles that the firm has been raided. Cain winds him up and Debbie has an idea when Dom worries about the police as he has a key to the place. Debbie leaves with Dom, and back at Tug Ghyll, she discreetly pockets his office keys before leading him seductively upstairs.

Meanwhile, Priya and Alicia continue to make sly digs at each other at the pub, but Priya tells Rishi it can't go on like this. Soon afterwards, David approaches a miserable Jacob in the playground as Alicia arrives. David despairs at making things worse as he suggests that Jacob could come and stay with him sometime. Later, Alicia puts a distraught Jacob to bed and Val comforts her when she breaks down in tears, saying she loves David more than ever.

Elsewhere, Vanessa and Pearl try to reach out to Edna but she snubs their efforts and is left lonely and isolated, Megan suggests to Declan that they should use Home Farm for more events and parties to bring in revenue, while Cain reacts when Moira offers Vanessa her spare ticket to the farmer's ball.
