    MONDAY

A grief-stricken Shirley isn't happy to have Ben living at the Mitchell house again, as she still hasn't forgiven him for framing Phil. However, Phil decides that he wants Ben at home to keep an eye on him, which annoys Shirley. Soon afterwards, Dot pays a visit to the family, expressing her belief that Andrew will be completely exonerated even though he's still being questioned by the police. However, Shirley lashes out at Dot and claims that Andrew is the killer, bringing up his outburst on the night of Heather's hen party. Shocked by the accusation, Dot rushes out.

At the same time, Ben is worried that Jay is going to crack and reveal the truth about Heather's death. Ben takes matters into his own hands by threatening Jay, revealing that he still has his blood-stained hoodie from that night and is willing to hand it over to the police to frame him. However, Phil is furious when he finds out about this, dragging Ben to the allotments and setting fire to the jumper. Phil warns Ben never to threaten his family again.

Meanwhile, Andrew is facing a tough time as he continues to be questioned at the police station. Andrew tries to explain that he and Heather were planning to elope, but the police are sceptical as there's nobody who can verify this. Later, Patrick tells Dot that he thinks Andrew is guilty. With both Shirley and Patrick's words now ringing in her ears, Dot decides that her nephew must have been the killer.

Elsewhere, Bianca is still strapped for cash and offers to help Dot at the launderette, the atmosphere remains tense between Ian and Mandy in the aftermath of Lorraine's visit, Patrick decides to take some time off from The Vic as he continues grieving for Heather, Kim offers to take on some shifts at the pub to get closer to Ray, while Derek continues with his attempts to interfere with the Mitchell empire.

    TUESDAY

The atmosphere remains tense at the Mitchell house as the social worker arrives with George, explaining that he can stay with the family until Darren is tracked down. However, the youngster's presence serves as a constant reminder of Heather.

Later, Patrick spots a piece of burnt clothing at the allotment, which appears to be one of the blue hoodies from Andrew's stag night. Patrick immediately calls the police, realising that this could be a clue. The police then carry out a thorough search of Dot's house, but they fail to find Andrew's hoodie. A suspicious Patrick says that Andrew must have burnt it, and Dot can't help but agree with his theory. However, deciding to do some detective work of their own, Dot, Cora and Rose break into R&R and manage to find Andrew's hoodie hanging up in his locker. But they're soon in legal trouble themselves when Billy arrives with a police officer.

Meanwhile, DS Crisp starts asking Phil about Jay's hoodie from the stag night. Phil fobs him off, but privately warns Ben that the burnt clothing has been found and the net seems to be closing in. Thinking the truth will soon come out, Ben tells a confused Roxy that he's sorry about what he did to Heather. However, Phil is in luck as he manages to get hold of Andrew's hoodie and tells Jay to pass it off as his own. Relieved that all hope isn't lost, Ben quickly changes the conversation with Roxy to ensure that she doesn't get suspicious.

Jay is horrified as the reality of the cover-up hits home, realising that innocent Andrew could be sent down over this. He then pays a visit to the police station - what will he tell them?

Also today, Jean realises that Andrew can't be the killer as she saw him at the time of Heather's death. However, Phil tries to put her off from talking to the police, reminding her that her benefit fraud and mental health issues would bring her statement into question.

    THURSDAY

As Phil desperately tries to hold his family together, he is worried about Jay's whereabouts. At the same time, Dot, Cora and Rose are brought back to the Square in a police car and continue to argue about whether Andrew is guilty or innocent.

Meanwhile, Alfie decides that it's time to take action over his financial troubles, so he puts prices up at The Vic and fires Jean. However, when Jean gets more upset than he expected, he quickly reinstates her as events manager. Jean decides to get started by organising a Heather tribute night at the pub. Alfie and Roxy suggest keeping it low-key to avoid upsetting Shirley, but Jean goes ahead and starts creating flyers for the evening.

Elsewhere, Mandy isn't pleased when she spots that she isn't on a family tree that Bobby is creating for a school project. She deliberately knocks a glass of juice over the youngster's work, forcing Bobby and Ian to start again from scratch. Later, Mandy is delighted as she spots that Ian has finally made sure her face is on the tree. However, it's clear that their problems are far from resolved as Ian still seems uneasy following Lorraine's insinuations.

Also today, Tanya wants a fresh start and decides to redecorate at home, while plans are being made for Lauren's 18th, although Whitney worries that she may not be able to afford Lucy's extravagant plans.

    FRIDAY

Albert Square's residents gather to celebrate Heather's life as Jean's tribute night kicks off at The Vic. However, when Shirley turns up, she's furious over the scene - believing that they're all just laughing at Heather. Shirley soon ends up in an argument with Mandy and also turns against Dot, claiming that she's clearly no friend of Heather's. However, Dot defends herself by claiming that the tribute is what Heather would have wanted.

Later, Mandy accuses Ian of not standing up for her when she argued with Shirley. However, Ian fires back by repeating Lorraine's harsh words - that he's just the latest "in a long line of mugs". Ian regrets his outburst, but when he returns home, Mandy's engagement ring has been placed on the table and she's nowhere to be seen.

Meanwhile, Tanya invites Lauren over for a birthday lunch, going to great effort to make everything perfect. However, Lauren fails to turn up as she drinks with her friends at The Vic instead. When Cora eventually finds Lauren, she drags her back home. However, Max and Tanya are appalled when they see how drunk their daughter is. After Lauren is sick, she confesses that she just wants things to go back to the way they were, and it's clear that her parents want the same thing. Can they reach a resolution?

Elsewhere, Patrick is still grieving for Heather and decides to leave Walford for a while to visit Anthony.

EastEnders' Phil Mitchell has a furious showdown with his twisted son Ben in tonight's (March 26) episode of the soap.

Phil (Steve McFadden) is livid and decides to take action when he discovers that Ben (Joshua Pascoe) has been threatening Jay (Jamie Borthwick) after concealing his blood-stained hoodie from the night of Heather's death.

A raging Phil immediately drags Ben off to the allotments and burns the incriminating evidence, before warning the teenager to never threaten his family again.

However, when Ben expresses his fears that his father will never be proud of him, will Phil offer any words of comfort?

Phil should have made the little swine put the hoodie on and then set fire to it. May have already been commented on ,so apols in case, but how is Andrews hoodie going to be passed off as Jays must be several sizes too big ? Sought of thing Billy would think up.
