Coming up in Emmerdale, troubles in Adam Barton and Aaron Livesy's friendship go from bad to worse as they end up in a brawl at The Woolpack.

Tension rises between the pair in the coming days as the attraction between John (James Thornton) and Chas (Lucy Pargeter) grows - leaving Adam gutted as he can see that Moira is heartbroken.

Adam (Adam Thomas) is later floored when he sees Chas getting into John's car and kissing him. However, when Adam confronts Aaron (Danny Miller) over his mum's behaviour, the mechanic insists that it's none of his business and refuses to have a word with her.

The situation soon spirals out of control as resentment escalates between Adam and Aaron - and they erupt into a brawl as Marlon and Moira try to separate them.

When Chas and John arrive back to the row, John realises that he needs to sort things out once and for all - by divorcing Moira!

Emmerdale airs these scenes on Tuesday, February 7 at 7pm on ITV1.

    Monday

Amy has gone AWOL and is dressed up for a night out and asleep on the bus with an unexplained black eye. Unable to face Val, Amy heads to the Dingles' place, where she cries when Belle hands her a photo of Kyle. Soon afterwards, Val is annoyed to hear that Amy is at the Dingles' and leaves to find her. When Val arrives, she is shocked to see Amy's black eye and loses it with her.

Later, Val becomes thoughtful when Belle chats to her about how Amy coped in pregnancy. A remorseful Val eventually tells Amy that she wants them all to move on. However, Diane is shocked when Val tells her that, despite making up with Amy, she still wants revenge on Pollard.

Meanwhile, Nicola enjoys having power over Carl and threatens that she could still turn him in to the police. Nicola is livid when Jimmy tells her that the money to pay off Rodney came from the business and without it they can't carry on. Rodney's shocked as Nicola explains that he will have to give the money back. Rodney is ready to play hardball as he hands Jimmy a cheque, saying it comes with a few demands.

Elsewhere, Moira finally snaps as she argues with Chas over John, Adam's anger over John and Chas builds, while Ashley has a special meal with Laurel but becomes resentful when Sandy interrupts to say he's cut himself and needs to be taken to A&E.

    Tuesday

Diane warns Chas that John may be using her as a rebound, but Chas is excited when she gets a text asking her for lunch. Moira, Adam and Holly are then floored when they see Chas getting into John's car and kiss him before driving off. Adam confronts Aaron over his mum's behaviour, but Aaron claims it's none of his business and refuses to have a word with her.

Resentment soon rises between Adam and Aaron - and they erupt in a brawl as Marlon tries to separate the pair. Chas and John arrive back to the row, and John realises that he'll have to sort things out once and for all. Chas is surprised when John privately tells her that he is filing for divorce from Moira.

Meanwhile, Val is jealous of Pollard and Amy's closeness as Amy returns home officially. Later, Pollard is shocked when Val suggests they should all go away to Portugal to see Paul - and Val's chuffed to think she's got one over on Pollard. She makes a provisional booking for the holiday as Pollard can't deny they all need a laugh, but Amy is concerned she may be up to something.

Elsewhere, Declan asks Katie to move in with him again, while Rodney secures a trial run with an old contact - but Carl tells him they haven't got enough trucks.

    Wednesday

John tries to talk to the kids about Chas, but they're not interested. When Moira arrives, the kids leave to let their parents have time to talk - and Moira is shocked into silence when John tells her that he wants a divorce.

When Adam takes his quad bike to the garage to be fixed, Chas spills the beans about the impending divorce. Adam and Holly rush home upon realising this is what John wanted to talk to Moira about - and Moira feels betrayed that Chas already knew.

Later, Adam calls back at the garage to get his quad bike, but Aaron hasn't completed the work and the pair bicker - driving a customer, Ed, away. At the same time, John and Chas share a passionate kiss, but are interrupted by Diane.

Meanwhile, Nicola is annoyed when Declan wants her to help Katie unpack her things. Soon afterwards, Gennie arrives and Katie forces a grin as she toasts to her new position as 'Lady of the Manor'. Later, Katie is delighted when Declan assures her that he wants her there and jokes with her about the pictures she has put up.

Elsewhere, Val is thwarted when David and Diane agree to run the B&B so Pollard can go on holiday with her and Amy.

    Thursday

Moira is distraught and has phoned in sick while Marlon comforts her. At the same time, Aaron tells Adam that he has fixed the quad bike, but neither of them is prepared to make the first move to make up.

Later, Chas is surprised when John arrives and they arrange for her to go to his house. Brenda is astonished to see Chas getting into John's car and kissing him. At the farm, Chas makes the first move and they fall into a passionate embrace.

Meanwhile, Katie begins to enjoy herself at Declan's, but she's curious when she finds an 'application for planning permission document'. Nicola is also taken aback as she reads it when Katie leaves the room. Later in The Woolpack, Charity eavesdrops as Katie tells Gennie about Declan's plans for the council's building work - and Katie panics in the café when Jimmy asks if she can put in a good word with Declan about using his business for the new access road.

Elsewhere, Pollard's passport goes missing, while Ali is unenthusiastic when Ruby wants to show her a flat she has found close to their old place

Chas anticipates a fun afternoon at the farm as John leads her upstairs, but she's left feeling rejected when he pulls away, telling her that he can't do this. Over at the pub, Brenda puts her foot in it when she tells Moira about seeing John with Chas. Adam, Alex and Holly try to comfort her, but she realises Chas is at the farm and leaves tormented.

Chas keeps up a brave face as John drops her off and she tells him to go and get Moira if he wants her. Moira bumps into Chas on her way out, they row and Moira slaps her across the face. However, Moira is given a glimmer of hope as Chas tells her that she didn't sleep with John as he still loves her.

Meanwhile, Val is cornered when Pollard and David solve the passport problem as they plan to drive to Durham to get a new one. Val pretends to faint, but Pollard is suspicious and she's busted when he sees there's no flight ticket for him.

Elsewhere, Katie and Nicola are gobsmacked when he explains that he's planning a music festival and he's delighted his secret's finally out, while Rachel is depressed as she confides in Marlon about Ruby wanting her and Ali to move back to town

    Friday

Pollard hopes things will settle with Val after her and Amy's holiday, but he's worried when Diane suggests that Val might be doing a runner. He tries to convince himself that she has got it wrong, but questions Val's intentions as she's getting ready to leave.

Val is caught as she tries to brush off Pollard's concerns but Amy's shocked when Val says that it sounds tempting to stay in Portugal. Diane, Pollard and Amy are stunned at Val's venom against Pollard as she heads out defiantly and she gets in the taxi - saying goodbye as Pollard pleads with her not to go.

Meanwhile, Adam is surprised when John tells him that it's over with Chas. Moira later pays a visit to the farm, telling John that she will always love him. However, John denies his feelings for Moira and lays it straight - declaring that he can never forgive her.

Elsewhere, Ruby is put out when Ali tells her about Marlon's offer of a loan. Marlon goes to give Rachel the money, but she's mortified when she moves to kiss him and he pulls away.

Emmerdale's warring women Chas and Moira continue to clash over John in tonight's episode of the soap.

Moira (Natalie J Robb) is trying to keep her head down at work following her recent troubles, but she becomes irritated once again when Chas neglects her duties to spend time with John (James Thornton) at the pub.

Trouble brews as Chas complains about Moira jealously glaring at her from behind the bar, but Moira fires back by accusing Chas of rubbing her nose in it.

As the argument continues, Chas (Lucy Pargeter) insists that Moira has no right to play the victim following her affair with Cain - and John is firmly on Chas's side. Can an emotional Moira cope with John moving on?
