Hollyoaks fans will see Darren Osborne launch his secret wedding mission in upcoming episodes.

Darren (Ashley Taylor Dawson) hopes to pull off the ultimate romantic gesture by arranging a surprise wedding for girlfriend Nancy (Jessica Fox), but there's a surprise in store as he recruits an unlikely person to help him with his plans.

Determined to keep the whole thing under wraps, Darren asks ex-girlfriend Cindy (Stephanie Waring) to pretend to be Nancy as he goes for an initial meeting with the registrar. Fortunately, the registrar is fooled and the marriage licence is approved - but has it really been such a good idea to get his ex on-board?

If that wasn't enough potential for trouble, Darren finds himself tempted back into gambling when he heads to the casino.

While there, Brendan (Emmett Scanlan) tries to persuade Darren to bet some wedding money that Jack has given him. Is Darren slipping back to his old, destructive ways?

Monday
Things get awkward for Mercedes when she starts a cleaning job at the hospital and is mistaken for a prostitute by a doctor she had relations with.

Meanwhile, Cindy agrees to help Darren with his secret wedding plans and pretends to be Nancy in front of the registrar.

Elsewhere, Callum is confused by Maddie's nonchalance following her vanishing act last night and forces her to admit that she isn't ready to sleep with him.

Also today, Ruby is heartbroken after her break-up with a humiliated Jono.



Tuesday

Mercedes is on a downward spiral when Doctor Browning pays her to go out with him again.

Meanwhile, carrying out her cleaning job at the hospital, Lynsey crosses the line when she interferes with a patient's medication dosage.

Elsewhere, Darren's plan fools the registrar and the marriage licence is approved.

Also today, Cheryl makes friends with the students much to Brendan's disapproval, while Neil has two weeks to learn how to drive after lying to his friends about his driving skills.

Wednesday

Lynsey applies for her old nurse's position, but potentially ruins her chances when she saves a coma patient's life unaware that he's listed as 'DNR - DO NOT RECUSCITATE'.

Meanwhile, Cindy tries to sabotage Darren's plans by telling him that Nancy wants a huge glamorous wedding.

Elsewhere, Cheryl realises that her night with the students got out of hand when she remembers sleeping with a surprising suitor.

Also today, Neil keeps up his bravado and flukes his theory driving test to prove to the others that he's not a no-hoper
Thursday

Darren uses Jack's wedding gift to purchase betting chips at the casino - will he slip back into his old, destructive ways?

Meanwhile, Mercedes discovers that Doctor Browning forgot to fill the coma patient's chart in properly - but is it enough to save Lynsey's nursing career?

Elsewhere, Neil is enjoying being the man in demand. However, when he doesn't take his driving lessons seriously enough, Tony refuses to continue teaching him.

Also today, Tilly questions whether she is doing what she wants with her life as her intense study schedule starts getting the better of her.



Friday

Mercedes blackmails Dr Browning after discovering that he has a family but still pays escorts. Could this be what Lynsey needs to get her old job back?

Meanwhile, Darren comes clean to Nancy about his night at the casino. Is the wedding over before it's begun?

Elsewhere, Esther tells Tilly to make her own decisions and stop letting other people run her life.

Also today, George is kicked out of his squat, while Tony agrees to help Neil if he promises to take his driving lessons seriously.

Hollyoaks' Darren Osborne puts a risky scheme into action in tonight's episode as he tries to get his secret wedding plans off the ground.

Darren (Ashley Taylor Dawson) finally manages to recruit ex-girlfriend Cindy (Stephanie Waring) to help him this evening - desperate to get a wedding licence without fiancée Nancy knowing about it.

Cindy pretends to be Nancy (Jessica Fox) in front of the registrar and actually enjoys the experience as she makes fun of the strait-laced journalist while impersonating her.

Fortunately for Darren, it looks like the registrar has been fooled by the act despite Cindy's mischievous antics. But how long will it take for Cindy to show a hidden agenda?
