When baby Freya's test results reveal a very rare heart condition known as Gerbodes, Jac goes against Elliot's instructions and decides to perform a potentially life-threatening procedure.

However, as the operation draws closer, Jac begins to question the validity of her decision. The operation goes ahead and proves successful, until baby Freya develops a bleed and Jac has to step up and save her life in an emergency second procedure.

Meanwhile, a new senior registrar with some unorthodox methods ruffles Eddi's feathers and sparks begin to fly. Baby Freya's safety is compromised when a patient on AAU turns out to have been jailed for kidnapping a child. Whilst in prison, the patient contracted a form of TB which causes Eddi to put the whole of AAU on lock down.

Elsewhere, in order to complete a section of his research, Oliver must gather data from Orthopaedics. Dan is an F2 down so Oliver offers to lend a hand, but after seeing Dan's teaching methods, he begins to consider his future on Darwin.

The girl who played the baby's mother MUST have been the sister of the actress who plays Chantelle. She looked similar, had similar mannerisms and sounded identical! I even thought it might be Chantelle - without all the makeup! Unfortunately, there was no acting credit, but if anyone can confirm I'd be grateful.
