New baby storyline for Albert Square

EastEnders has another pregnancy storyline on the way as one Walford female will soon discover that she is expecting a baby, a report has revealed.

Inside Soap's new issue says that either Kat Moon (Jessie Wallace), Lauren Branning (Jacqueline Jossa), Lola Pearce (Danielle Harold) or Mandy Salter (Nicola Stapleton) is the woman in question, and the storyline will begin later this year.

The news could add a whole new significance to recent events on the Square, along with twists which are about to be screened in the next couple of weeks.

EastEnders viewers have recently seen Kat cheat on husband Alfie with delivery man Mark, which could mean another 'Who's the daddy?' plot if she's the woman who's about to receive the surprise news.

Rumours that Lauren could fall pregnant have been circulating for some time - and, if the plot goes that way, it looks likely that Tyler would be the father as they have a one-night stand later this week.

Meanwhile, Lola sleeps with Ben Mitchell towards the end of the month, and Mandy looks set to start planning a future with Ian Beale after he proposes in Thursday night's episode. Could there be a new arrival for the Mitchell or Beale families next year?

Further details about the storyline are expected to be revealed later in the year.

EastEnders' feisty teenager Lola Pearce will discover that she is pregnant in a forthcoming storyline, a report has claimed.

The outspoken blonde, played by Danielle Harold, learns that she is expecting a baby in a few weeks' time and it is not long before her grandfather Billy discovers the truth, according to the Daily Star.

Ben Mitchell, who recently came out as gay to his dad Phil, could be the father of the unborn child as he sleeps with Lola next week while still trying to come to terms with his sexuality.

However, Lola is also expected to have sex with another Walford local - sparking a 'Who's the daddy?' mystery.

An EastEnders insider explained: "Lola is stunned when she finds out she's pregnant. But the big question is who is the father? Not only does she sleep with Ben, she jumps in the sack with another Albert Square resident."

Billy (Perry Fenwick) is expected to support Lola after they have a heart-to-heart, assuring the tearaway that he's there for her and encouraging her to keep the baby.

Today's rumour is unconfirmed by EastEnders bosses but follows previous reports that either Lola, Kat, Mandy or Lauren have a pregnancy twist on the way.
