Cain Dingle kidnaps Nate to prevent him from crashing ex-girlfriend Tracy's wedding

Nate's recent cagey behaviour has raised suspicion with his family. But just what is he hiding?

Cain is convinced Nate is plotting to fight Tracy for custody of their young daughter, Frankie.

So when he and Moira hear via Nicola that Nate is heading to the town hall, alarm bells are ringing.

Terrified Nate is about to do something very stupid, the couple race off to try and stop him.

Outside the Registry Office, they see Tracy wearing a bridal gown and accompanied by a handsome stranger. Is he her groom?

Shocked, Cain and Moira conclude Nate is actually planning to crash Tracy's wedding day and decide they can't let that happen.

With no time to lose, Cain ambushes Nate before he can enter the building. With Nate knocked out cold, Cain and Moira bundle him into the back of a van and drive home.

Waking up in the village, Nate is furious by what Cain's done. But what's really going on?

Elsewhere, Dan feels like he's done what he had to in order to get rid of Amelia's creepy stalker, Lloyd.

There's further relief for the concerned father when Amelia confirms she's blocked her pervy fan's phone number.

But then PC Swirling arrives with bad news - Lloyd has made a complaint about Dan's threatening behaviour. Will Dan regret taking the law into his own hands?

Up the road, Laurel tries to broker the peace between Rishi and Jai. But while Rishi is hopeful of a reunion, his stubborn son isn't interested in forgiving and forgetting.

And, Victoria might think Wendy and Liam's affair is off, but it's very much back on when the lovers enjoy another passionate tryst.

Are they playing with fire?


Tuesday

Victor Anderson has an idea how to fix Naomi Walters' money woes in Tuesday's episode (ITV, 7.30pm, see our TV Guide for full listings).

And that idea involves his granddaughter getting her mitts on Vinny's big poker windfall.

Naomi has struck up a surprising bond with Vinny, who was tragically widowed last year when his wife Liv was killed during Emmerdale's 50th anniversary storm week.

Since losing his beloved, Vinny has been picking up the pieces of his life, but hasn't shown any interest in getting romantically involved with anyone else.

His friendship with Naomi is just that at the moment, but that could be about to change as the pair start hanging out more.

Naomi hasn't had it easy since arriving in Emmerdale last year as the long-lost daughter of vicar Charles Anderson.

As well as disastrous relationships with Nate Robinson and shady drug dealer Alex Moore, Naomi is up to her eyeballs in debt.

She decides to open up to grandad Victor about her money woes and he's upset to hear about the mess she's in.

The cunning OAP soon hits upon an idea to fix Naomi's problems when he hears that Vinny has cleaned up at poker.

Victor urges his granddaughter to persuade Vinny to give her some of his winnings.

So despite promising Charles she'll stay clear of Victor and his troublemaking ways, Naomi soon finds herself tempted to follow his advice.

Will she use Vinny to fix her cash flow crisis?

Elsewhere in the village, Dan is happy to see Amelia is finally in a place of contentment with her life. The proud dad tells Amelia how pleased he is that she's heading in the right direction.

Things have been a struggle for the teenage mum since she gave birth to baby Esther.

Recently Amelia has been trying to launch a career as a social media star, but soon discovered the dark side of being famous when obsessive fan, Lloyd started stalking her.

Protective Dan issued a menacing threat to Lloyd to stay away from his daughter and is confident they've seen the last of the creep.

But is that just wishful thinking?


Wednesday

Dan Spencer violently assaults Amelia's stalker Lloyd

Amelia has been making a name for herself on social media, but in the process has also gained an unwanted admirer - Lloyd.

The sleazy fan gave Amelia a scare by trapping her in the salon and then continued to bombard her with texts. Lloyd even discovered where the young beautician lived then slipped a handwritten note through her front door. Yikes!

Dan was livid when he discovered what had been going on and wasted no time in confronting his daughter's tormentor.

The protective dad believed his threats were enough to put the frighteners on Lloyd and get him to leave his girl alone.

Unfortunately, it turns out he was wrong.

Undeterred by Dan's warning to back off, sinister Lloyd turns up at the village church.

Amelia is clearly scared to come face-to-face with him again, but Lloyd tries to explain his creepy behaviour.

Moments later, Dan sees Lloyd and Amelia together and the red mist descends.

Marching over from outside the garage, the furious mechanic confronts Lloyd, demanding to know what he's playing at.

With emotions running high, Dan loses his temper and punches Lloyd hard in the face, causing him to fall to the ground.

Witnessing the fracas, Cain rushes over to find Lloyd's lifeless body.

Has Dan accidentally killed Amelia's stalker?

Elsewhere in the Dales, cash-strapped Naomi may have found the answer to her financial woes when Vinny offers to lend her a chunk of his windfall.

The vicar's daughter is taken aback by Vinny's generous offer and doesn't know what to do.

However, Victor wants her to accept the dosh and encourages Naomi to say yes.

Naomi desperately needs the money to start paying off her debts, but does Victor have other ideas of what to do with it?

Eventually the young chef listens to her grandad and agrees to take the cash.

Is Vinny going to live to regret his act of kindness?


Thursday

Naomi Walters considers taking Vinny's money and making a run for it

Naomi is drowning in debt and hasn't been able to see a way out of the mess she's in.

But help was on hand from her new friend Vinny when he offered her a chunk of his windfall.

Naomi was taken aback by the generous offer, but persuaded by her grandfather, Victor to accept.

Naomi has grown close to the former convict, despite Charles's warnings that he's trouble and she should stay well clear of him.

Keeping to his pledge to help, Vinny gives Naomi the money, who is delighted.

The troubled lass has every intention of using Vinny's dosh to settle her debts, but Victor has other ideas.

He suggests she keep the cash to herself instead of paying her outstanding bills, and Naomi is clearly tempted by the idea.

While considering what to with Vinny's money, Naomi ends up in bother at work when Chas and Marlon accuse her of giving Victor free pints.

The public confrontation leaves Naomi feeling humiliated so in dramatic fashion she announces she's quitting before storming out of the pub.

Later, Naomi is still stewing over the run-in and tells Victor she's seriously considering taking Vinny's winnings and leaving - for good.

We know Naomi is set to exit shortly, following actress Karene Peter's decision to quit the soap.

Will she do a runner with Vinny's fortune?

Meanwhile over at Home Farm, Kim is shocked to find a positive pregnancy test in the bin.

Jumping to conclusions, Kim assumes it belongs to Gabby and that she's carrying former fianc? Nicky's kid. Gabby's hopes of a happy ever after were cruelly dashed when Caleb's son jilted her on their wedding day after revealing he was actually gay.

Later, Kim confronts her protegee about the test, but Gabby denies any knowledge of it and insists she's not in the family way.

However, it soon becomes clear who it belongs to when Dawn starts feeling experiencing morning sickness.

Billy arrives to see his wife and is over the moon when she reveals they're going to be parents.

Will their family be equally chuffed by the news?

Charity Dingle is left fuming when Ryan goes over her head

Smitten Ryan offers new girlfriend, Gail a job working in The Woolpack kitchen, and Charity is not happy about it.

It's been just over a month since Ryan and Gail started dating and their sweet relationship is going from strength to strength.

The pair are old friends, but romance blossomed back in May when Gail returned to the village after four years.

Ryan and Gail spent the night together but were left red-faced the following morning when his mum Charity walked in on them. Awkward!

Keen for his other half to make roots in the village, Ryan offers her a job working in The Woolpack kitchen.

As landlord of the village pub, Ryan doesn't see a problem in putting Gail on the payroll. Unfortunately, he doesn't run the decision past his mum and co-owner of the Woolie, Charity.

Naturally, Charity is peeved over not being consulted and makes her feelings known when Gail turns up for her first shift at work.

What's more, head chef Marlon isn't amused either.

Is Gail's new career over before it's even begun?

Meanwhile, Dawn and Billy are on a high after discovering they're going to be parents.

The couple are overjoyed to be able to share news of Dawn's pregnancy with their loved ones at Home Farm.

Everyone is delighted to hear that Dawn is expecting a little bundle of joy. Everyone that is except for Gabby, who's still heartbroken after being jilted by Nicky on their wedding day.

After being forced to put on a brave face last week over Laurel and Jai's engagement, Dawn's baby news is just another sad reminder for Gabby that her happy ever after didn't work out.

Will she be able to find a way to move forward?

Moira and Cain hear from Nicola that Nate is heading to the town hall. Fearing he's about to do something stupid and fight for custody of Frankie, they race off to stop him.

Spotting Tracy in a wedding dress outside the registry office with an attractive man, Cain and Moira now conclude that Nate is actually planning to crash her wedding.

Cain acts decisively and kidnaps Nate before he can go inside, knocking him out in the process.

Meanwhile, Dan feels like he's successfully warded Lloyd off and is positive as reassured Amelia confirms she has blocked his number. But soon a very serious PC Swirling arrives, confirming that Lloyd has made a complaint about Dan after his threats yesterday. Swirling warns Dan not to take the law into his own hands.

Elsewhere, Victoria thinks the affair is over, but a meeting between Wendy and Liam reveals they are furtively excited to continue their affair.
