Neighbours' Susan Kennedy makes a worrying discovery about Elly Conway's young daughter Aster next week.

Susan is left with concerns for Aster's wellbeing when it emerges that the youngster's grandmother Liz hasn't been looking after her properly.

The revelation comes in the build-up to Elly's upcoming wedding to Chloe Brennan. Show bosses have confirmed that the popular couple will tie the knot in scenes airing on Thursday, December 28.

Ahead of the ceremony, Susan babysits Aster and finds out that Liz has been leaving the 6-year-old home alone for hours on end.

Elly finds out about her mum's irresponsible behaviour and confronts her over the phone. As things get heated, Elly withdraws Liz's invitation to the wedding.

While everyone's main concern is Aster's welfare, Elly and Chloe are also disappointed to realise that they'll now have to call off their honeymoon. Liz was originally due to look after Aster while the couple were away, as the youngster's father Shaun is out of town.

Susan is determined that Elly and Chloe shouldn't miss out on their dream honeymoon, so she offers to stay in Sydney with Aster while the girls are away.

Now assured that Aster will be in safe hands, Chloe and Elly put all of their energy into enjoying their big day ? but could anything else go wrong?

Liz Conway originally appeared on Neighbours between 2001 and 2002, then played by Christine Keogh.

She returned for further appearances in 2018 and 2019, with former Home and Away star Debra Lawrance taking over the role.

Neighbours releases this episode on Boxing Day at 7am on free streaming service Amazon Freevee.

Neighbours has confirmed that Karl Kennedy will return to Ramsay Street next week.

The popular character has been away on a short break from Erinsborough ? missing all the drama which has surrounded Toadie Rebecchi, Melanie Pearson and Terese Willis over the past fortnight.

In next Wednesday's episode (March 27), Melanie worries as Karl is due to arrive back from Sydney imminently.

Melanie knows that Karl will inevitably be disappointed over her and Toadie sleeping together and she braces herself for his negative reaction.

When Karl arrives, he's politely distant towards Melanie rather than giving her a lecture over recent events.

Rather than feeling relieved to have avoided a row, Melanie becomes unsettled over Karl's lack of response. Is it only a matter of time before Karl speaks his mind? And is Melanie still welcome living at the Kennedy house after ignoring Karl's warnings to stay away from Toadie?

Melanie and Toadie's secret was publicly exposed during the Longest Lie-In Event at Lassiters last week. Melanie made the mistake of confiding in Holly Hoyland, not realising that Holly's walkie-talkie was broadcasting the conversation to the other Lassiters employees and Toadie's wife Terese was in earshot.

The aftermath saw Toadie confess that he still wanted to be with Terese, but she refused to forgive him and sought some time away from the family home.

This Thursday's episode (March 21) sees Melanie bear the brunt of the backlash when Wendy Rodwell accidentally makes her feel unwelcome at a Ramsay Street party.

Wendy's loyalties lie with Terese after the recent dramas on the Street, but Melanie responds by vowing not to be shamed by her neighbours anymore.

Neighbours airs Karl's return on Wednesday, March 27.

I don't believe they have given an official date when Susan/Jackie will be back on screen. As mentioned previously, Jackie had an extended overseas holiday already booked when it was announced that the show was to return & the producers had to accommodate that. A while back, Karl said that Susan would be away for a couple more months, which I think would have her returning maybe around the end of March/beginning of April (?). So, she can't be too far away (unless of course she does actually come back with Karl from Sydney & they just haven't mentioned her in the spoilers as yet.....).

Neighbours has officially confirmed that Susan Kennedy will return to Ramsay Street next month.

The popular character has been absent since Christmas, but she'll soon be back on our screens after her time away in Sydney.

Digital Spy can confirm that Susan makes her comeback on Tuesday, April 23.

A newly released spoiler picture from this episode shows Susan and her husband Karl sharing an emotional moment on the sofa at the Kennedy house as they're reunited.

It seems that Susan is thrown straight back into drama, as a teaser spoiler for the following episode on Wednesday, April 24 reads: "Susan is made a tempting offer."

The short synopsis for the next episode on Thursday, April 25 adds: "Susan struggles with a secret."

Neighbours typically releases more detailed spoilers for each episode a week before broadcast, so we'll find out more about Susan's return storyline in mid-April.

Back in December, Susan offered to travel to Sydney to look after Aster Conway while Elly Conway and Chloe Brennan were on their honeymoon together.

She later got in touch with Karl to confirm that she'd be staying for longer than planned, as she'd enrolled on a course in Sydney. Karl recently made his own trip there to catch up with Susan for a couple of weeks.

In real life, Jackie Woodburne ? who plays Susan ? took a break from filming late last year due to a pre-planned holiday that had been organised before Neighbours was revived for its new season.
