Dionne Bromfield has shared her disappointment with the stars recruited for a tribute to her godmother Amy Winehouse at tonight's MTV Video Music Awards.

A special memorial to the late 'Back To Black' singer, led by her 'Body And Soul' collaborator Tony Bennett, will be screened at this weekend's Los Angeles event.

However, the 15-year-old jazz star expressed dissatisfaction with MTV's chosen lineup on Twitter today, arguing that there were more appropriate stars for her mentor's tribute.

"Lauren hill, jennnifer Hudson or the dap kings should be doing Tributes to Amy at VMA," she wrote. "dappy kings supported Amy when she toured USA. (sic)"

Bromfield was happy with Adele's participation in the VMA segment though, declaring: "So Glad @Adele is doing a Tribute to Amy' one of our home girl..got a lot of love for her."

Bromfield recently said that Winehouse's death has still "not sunk in".
