Emmerdale star Charley Webb has revealed details of her forthcoming pregnancy plot, confirming that Debbie Dingle's surprising news comes at the worst possible time.

Later this month, viewers will see Debbie tell Chas and mum Charity that she is expecting a baby, admitting that she is worried as the pregnancy was not planned.

To make matters worse, Debbie's news comes at a time when she is having problems with partner Cameron (Dominic Power) - fearing that he is having an affair with village minx Eve Jenson (Suzanne Shaw).

In an interview with All About Soap, Webb commented: "She's been struggling to trust Cameron, so finding out she's going to have his baby isn't going to help matters at all.

"She's also caught him flirting a bit with Eve Jenson and so she's been concentrating on getting to the bottom of that at the moment, rather than her pregnancy shock."

After Cameron convinces a paranoid Debbie that he has not been unfaithful, the blonde finally finds the confidence to tell him about the baby.

"He doesn't say anything at first, which makes her think he isn't interested in being a dad," Webb added. "But he's just trying to get her head around it like she was. He's eventually pleased, but he has got a lot of convincing to do before Debbie will believe he can change and be a good father to their child."

Debbie and Cameron's plot twist airs towards the end of May.

it's all about to kick off between Debbie, Cameron, Carl and Eve as jealousy and tension spiral out of control in the village.

When Debbie spots Cameron flirting with Eve, she starts to wonder whether she can trust him. Not long afterwards, Debbie finds herself in an argument with Carl over his affair with Chas, and he fuels her suspicions by spitefully asking how long it will take for Cameron to start playing away with Eve.

Devastated at the suggestion, it's clear that Debbie is feeling more emotional than usual and she later explains herself to Charity and Chas, admitting that she needs to know whether she can trust Cameron because she's pregnant.

Debbie soon has a frank discussion with Cameron, admitting her suspicions and the role that Carl played in making her feel uneasy. Cameron insists that he's done nothing wrong but is furious to hear that Carl has stirred things up.

Later, at the office, Eve has got wind of Carl's behaviour and explodes at him over his manipulations. But it's not the end of the matter as Cameron also turns up and gets even by punching Carl in the face…

With Cameron away on a driving job, Chas forces a disinterested Debbie into a night at the pub. At the same time, Jai buys Charity flowers in the hope of getting her to help with an urgent order at the factory. Still offended by their previous row, Charity refuses, claiming she's paying her way by taking a job with Chas which starts that night. Charity quickly convinces Chas to let her work a shift, to Moira's annoyance.

As Carl and Chas row in the pub, Debbie defends Chas, reminding Carl of his affair with Eve. When Carl can't resist wondering when Cameron will fall under Eve's spell too, Debbie grabs a pint and pours it over his head as Chas throws him out and orders Debbie go to the back room. Charity insists that emotional Debbie should have a drink to calm down, but Debbie bursts into tears, explaining that she can't because she's pregnant…

Meanwhile, Jimmy begs Rodney to help him win Nicola back, explaining that his life is nothing without her and Angel. Rodney tries to convince Nicola to give Jimmy a chance, but she won't listen.

Elsewhere, Dermot tells Declan that he'll lose Ella if he doesn't pay her a bit more attention, and Moira and John force Cain to take some cash for fixing the car.

24th May

As Debbie starts putting Cameron's clothes into bin bags due to her suspicions, Chas can't resist confronting Eve, who soon insists to Debbie that there's nothing going on. At the same time, Cain sees Cameron in the pub and is quick to accuse him. Furious, Cameron claims that it's lies and races home to see Debbie. He then assures her that he's done nothing wrong, but she recalls the day she saw him and Eve together. Cameron accepts that he shouldn't flirt but says that's all it was.

Over at the office, Eve explodes at Carl for lying, before Cameron turns up wanting to speak to Carl. He tries to keep his cool as he needs his job, but when Carl is unrepentant and makes a comment about Debbie, Cameron punches him in the face as Eve and Edna watch on in shock.

Meanwhile, Rhona begins to feel Braxton hicks contractions again while she's having lunch with Paddy and Marlon at the pub. She tries to hide the pain, but Paddy and Marlon worry and Diane helps Rhona to the back room. As the pains ease, Rhona is mortified by all the attention. Marlon points out that she needs to listen to her body and maybe it's time to stop work. Paddy is stunned when Rhona agrees and can't help feeling left out.

Elsewhere, Gennie helps Nikhil to choose a watch as a gift for Chas, and Cain berates Charity for not being around for Debbie.


25th May

Debbie is fuming when Cameron admits that he punched Carl and she tells him to pack his bags. As Cameron tries to convince her that she can trust him, Debbie drops the bombshell and admits she's pregnant, but is unhappy about his reaction. Shocked to hear that she's thinking of having an abortion, Cameron makes his way to Pear Tree and apologises to an unreceptive Carl. Jimmy then forces Carl to accept his apology and give him his job back.

When Cameron delivers the news to Debbie, she's pleasantly surprised but is still adamant they can't be together. However, as Cameron insists he's in love and wants to spend the rest of his life with her, Debbie finally relents.

Meanwhile, Nicola refuses to accept flowers from Jimmy which have been sent to work. At the same time, Kelly's optimism is thwarted when Jimmy makes it clear that he's only interested in spending time with Elliot. Later, Rodney approaches and tells Jimmy that he has to keep trying with Nicola but warns him that Kelly will never give up. Later, when another bunch of flowers arrives for Nicola, Rodney tries to make her see that Jimmy still loves her.

Elsewhere, Andy's concerned to see Victoria and Alex getting closer, Sam returns home from Norfolk with a present from Alice's auntie Ivy, Gennie hides her upset as Nikhil presents Chas with the watch, Charity is annoyed about Chas and Debbie's heart-to-heart.

26th May 7-00pm

Jimmy is with Angelica at Mill Cottage when there's a knock at the door and Kelly walks in with Elliot. Jimmy insists that nothing is ever going to happen between them and tells a hurt Kelly that enough is enough and it's time that she left the village. He also agrees to pay for her to move while he tries to make amends with Nicola.

However, when Nicola finally decides to give Jimmy a chance and arrives at Mill, she's furious to see Kelly and Elliot. Kelly soon twists the situation and tells Nicola that Jimmy has asked them to move away together. Nicola's furious and launches into Kelly as she talks about the happy family they'll have away from her. Jimmy splits up the catfight but Kelly smiles to realise that Nicola has drawn blood - she's violated her probation and could be sent down for this…

Meanwhile, Cameron tries to make peace with Carl in the office but Carl makes it clear that he's the boss and will be giving him all the difficult and unpleasant jobs. Later, Cain is thoughtful when Cameron tells him that he's just biding his time with Carl - he's got his card marked and he's on the inside now he's got his job back.

Elsewhere, Victoria suspects something happened between Hannah and Alex, Debbie tells Charity that she's keeping the baby, and Hazel tells Aaron that they have to honour their promise to Jackson.


8-00pm

Kelly knows that she's in full control as Nicola panics and blames Jimmy over her threats to call the police. Jimmy tries to make Nicola see that Kelly twisted his words, but she refuses to listen. Knowing he has to prove himself to Nicola, he storms over to Kelly's. When he arrives, Jimmy insists that he'll do whatever it takes to prove how much Nicola means to him, even if that means lying to the police and claiming it was self defence.

Despite Bob's efforts to convince Kelly to leave Nicola and Jimmy alone, Kelly is determined. Storming over to Mill Cottage, she tells a shocked Jimmy that if he dare choose Nicola over her, he'll never see his son again…

Meanwhile, Jackson asks Aaron to try to enjoy the time they still have together. Fighting their own emotions, Hazel and Aaron assure Jackson that they'll do this his way, although it's clear it's tearing them both apart.

Elsewhere, Victoria is disgusted and storms off when Alex tells her that he slept with Hannah, and Paddy's new locum Nicky starts and Rhona is pleasantly surprised when she sees that he is an attractive male.
