18th April

When Aaron arrives at the hospital, it's clear that Hazel is nervous. Aaron tries his best to comfort her, but he shares her fears. The doctor informs Jackson that the infection is part of his condition as he's unable to clear his lungs properly, and Hazel and Aaron are upset by Jackson's defeatist reaction to the news.

As they make to leave, Jackson snaps that they don't listen to him and he's fed up of trying to stay positive. As Jackson breaks down, Aaron rushes to his side to comfort him.

Meanwhile, Ella is intrigued when Declan makes it clear that he's not giving up on Butlers Farm - he's got a plan and is determined to get what he wants. He arrives at Butlers with a property lawyer and John angrily approaches, reminding him that he needs to give notice before turning up.

Declan assures him that he's going through the lease with a fine tooth comb and leaves John fired up and ready for war. Later, in the pub, John tells Moira that he has a plan to raise the money to buy the farm - if they take a few risks and develop the farm it could pay off.

Elsewhere, Nicola is left fuming after a run-in with Kelly, who's smug about her victory. Nicola goes to see Jimmy and apologises again, but admits she was only trying to save their marriage and hopes he will eventually remember the good times they shared.

Also today, Charity is mortified when Nikhil arrives home unexpectedly and finds her dancing in a revealing outfit; and Debbie is suspicious when Cain pulls out a big wad of notes in the garage.

19th April

Jimmy pops in to see Elliot and when Kelly moves in for a kiss, he's tense and she quickly senses Nicola has swayed him. When he explains that she's apologised and accepted she was out of order, Kelly starts to well up.

As Jimmy hugs her, she's aware that she's losing the upper hand. She confides in Eve that everything is going pear-shaped and Eve tells her that she's going to have to up her game. Kelly steels herself and takes a big risk - telling Jimmy that she's leaving and if he wants her then he'll have to prove it.

Meanwhile, at Home Farm, Adam is awkward when John arrives for a meeting with Declan and tells him that he'd like to grow the business and buy it off Declan in two years. Declan is dismissive and claims that he won't wait, so John is incredulous and storms out. However, an embarrassed Adam goes after his father and tells him not to give up so easily.

Back in the office, John simmers as Declan looks over his plans, but Declan is unyielding as he asserts that he'll have to buy the farm now if he wants to develop it. Adam's shocked when John tells him that he will and promises to raise the cash within a month. Moira is stunned when he arrives home and delivers the news.

Elsewhere, Cain tries to pick a fight with Cameron; Nicola and Rodney are not happy as an estate agent shows potential buyers around the house; and Aaron, Hazel and Jerry are weary at Jackson's bedside as his mood worsens.

20th April

Kelly does her best to make her threat to leave look as real as possible. Jimmy takes solace in the church to clear his head and is suddenly struck by a memory. Racing over to Tall Trees, he tells Kelly that he remembers her walking towards him down the aisle and how happy he was. He asks her not to go - they belong together and he loves her. As they kiss, it turns passionate and they head upstairs.

At the same time, Nicola is happy, thinking Kelly is out of their lives for good. However, she is stunned when Jimmy admits that he's made his choice and he's chosen Kelly. Devastated, she tries to tell him that he's made a hasty decision and he needs more time, but she's distraught to realise he's already slept with Kelly.

Meanwhile, Charity is taken aback to find a jewellery box in her cereal with a pair of diamond earrings inside, and it's clear that she's somewhat relieved it's not an engagement ring. She enjoys flaunting them in front of Cain in the pub.

When Charity comes to the garage to ask if Debbie can babysit Noah so she and Jai can go out, Cain broods and asks Ryan if he fancies a night out tomorrow. It's clear that Cain is plotting…

Elsewhere, Moira is worried by the scale of John's big ideas; Leyla approaches Andy in the pub and asks him to tell Alicia that she wants things back to how they were; and Aaron and Hazel are concerned that Jackson is going to reveal his true feelings to Jerry, but they're relieved when he covers.

21st April 7-00pm

Ryan collects Cain for their night out. When Cain asks him to stop by Wishing Well, Ryan instantly smells a rat. As they pull up, Cain leaps out of the car and heads straight to Holdgate, telling a furious Ryan to keep an eye out for him. However, Charity is making her way home having left her phone.

A panicked Ryan tries to warn Cain, who's in the house stealing Charity's earrings and Jai's car keys. As Charity walks in, he jumps out of the window but she knows he's been there and is irate as she watches Jai's car speeding out of the drive. Ryan's furious and tells him that he's on his own from here - he's not going back to prison for anyone. Back at Holdgate, a furious Charity decides she's had enough and calls the police.

Meanwhile, Nicola is miserable at home while Carl gives Jimmy a hard time in the office. Later, Kelly arrives and is unnerved when Jimmy remembers a minor detail about a customer. As the day continues, Nicola decides to brave it in the pub and causes Kelly and Jimmy to leave when she tells Kelly that it's only a matter of time before Jimmy remembers what an evil bitch she really is. Back at Tall Trees, Kelly is pleased when Jimmy agrees they can tell Elliot he's his dad.

Elsewhere, Alicia contemplates telling Andy the truth about Jacob; Adam faces a dilemma over who to spend his birthday with; Rodney tells Declan that they'll be out of Brook sooner rather than later; and Zak overreacts when Belle shows up late after her paper round due to a puncture.

8-00pm

The police are at Holdgate and Charity admits that Cain has let himself in before. Later, Cain arrives home and acts as though he's been sat there for hours when the police arrive. Debbie arrives back in time to hear Cameron vouch for him. The police arrest Cain and take him up to the station, while Debbie makes her way up to Holdgate to confront her mum.

Arriving back from the police station, a furious Debbie questions why Cameron gave Cain an alibi. Worried, she warns him that he'd better hope the police don't find out he's lying - before adding that if he gets banged up, they're over.

Meanwhile, Jimmy and Kelly ask Marlon and Lizzie to go to the pub while they tell Elliot that Jimmy is his dad. Lizzie accidentally tells Nicola in the pub and she storms out upset. Jimmy confronts Carl over his snide remarks and is defiant when Carl claims that everyone else can see he's being manipulated by Kelly.

However, Jimmy leaps to her defence and turns to Kelly asking if she'd like to move in. Carl takes his brother to one side and reminds him that he has no right as it's not his home. But when Jimmy suggests that the alternative is for him to leave with Kelly, Carl is backed into a corner and has to agree.

Elsewhere, Alicia tells Andy that Jacob isn't her biological son; Zak admits he's uncomfortable about Lisa going ahead with the court case; Ryan's worst fears are realised as the police arrive to question him; and Alicia moves back in with her sister after Leyla apologises.

22nd April

As Kelly prepares to move in, Carl continues with his attempts to convince Jimmy to change his mind. At the same time, Nicola starts to put Jimmy's clothes in bin bags and cut the arms off his shirts. Later, Carl finds Jimmy looking distracted and he admits that he's had another memory of him and Nicola moving into Brook Cottage. He claims that it won't change anything but it's strange how he can remember some things.

Later, when Jimmy shows up with bags of destroyed clothes, Kelly urges him to see this from Nicola's point of view - arguing that she clearly wants closure and perhaps he should look at divorce.

Meanwhile, Debbie is fed up with her parents and rants at Charity for dobbing her dad in and causing Cameron to get caught up in this mess. Later, Charity approaches Jai and explains how the situation impacts Debbie, but Jai is adamant that Cain is guilty and he's not getting away with it this time.

Charity goes to the station to change her statement and the police have no choice but to release Cain. Cain arrives home smug and tells Debbie that she needn't have bothered convincing Charity - there's no way she would have stood in the witness box and got him sent down. Debbie's exasperated as he claims he didn't need Cameron to put his neck on the line either.

Elsewhere, Ella's starting to feel like a spare part in Declan's life but is flattered when Adam pays her a compliment; Ryan's relieved when Charity tells him that she didn't put him in the frame but is worried Cain will drag him into more trouble; and Diane, Marlon and Pearl persuade Rhona to have a baby shower.
