problems with printer

I have a Dell Photo All- In- One Printer 922.
When I print an item all the paper goes through not just the one I'm printing. Also, bcause of this, I can never print two or more sheets. Anyone help me with this problem?

Have you made sure that the paper is not too far into the feed tray near the rollers? Sometimes if the paper is pushed too far in the rollers can't grip the paper properly so takes more than one sheet.
