Yes it was a horrific death, especially for someone with severe claustrophobia. Another reason the episode left a bad taste in my mouth.

Did Vincent crush the car after seeing the body? Ronnie & co were obviously clueless; surely they would have looked if the car was still intact?

Me too. He's been a lovely character with a few little dalliances that have made EE a little more interesting. His interaction with Mrs B has been lovely, I am sure she will miss him very much too.

No-one actually dies in Eastenders. There is always a chance they will be brought back to life with some outrageously ridiculous story. Or, it could all have been a dream Vincent had in the shower.....
