Monday

Whitney Dean's life is in mortal danger when she steps in front of a car

Whitney Dean and partner Zack Hudson are Milton Keynes visiting Whitney's step-mum Bianca Jackson.

The couple decided to head up to stay with Bianca after she revealed she was in a bad place following a split from her long term partner Terry Spraggan.

In a flashback, we see Whitney and Zack arriving in Milton Keynes and immediately clashing with two tearaway kids Britney and Taylor.

When Whitney catches Britney rifling through bins for food, she is horrified.

Bianca reveals that Britney's mum Keeley suffers with drug addiction and Whitney's worried that their being neglected

When Bianca later finds the pair cold and hungry, locked outside their flat, Whitney vows to do something.

Horrified that they've been put in danger by their mum, Whitney confronts Keeley, demanding an explanation.

The time shifts back to the present day, and Zack's getting frustrated with Whitney's reluctance to return home to Walford.

She's fretting about Britney's welfare and, after paying a visit to Britney's school, she finds out she hasn't been enrolled since 2020.

Back at Bianca's, Whitney's surprised when Sonia Fowler turns up, but her attention quickly turns back to Britney. Finding a nasty cut on the young girl's leg, Whitney goes back to see Keeley.

The confrontation with Keeley quickly turns into a row, alarming Britney, who does a runner. Whitney runs after her and promises she'll do everything she can to look after her.

Backing away from Whitney, a scared Britney ends up in the road in, just as a car appears. Without thinking, Whitney lurches forward to push her out of the way and the car hits her!

Whitney isn't moving as she lies in the road and Zack, Bianca and Sonia rush towards her.

Tuesday

Zack Hudson makes a big decision after an event leaves him and Whitney Dean in crisis

Zack Hudson is HORRIFIED after watching his pregnant girlfriend Whitney Dean get knocked down by a car.

Whitney's rushed to hospital with Zack, Sonia Fowler and Bianca Jackson by her side. After being checked over, she's sent for an ultrasound to check if her baby is okay.

After Whitney and Zack tragically lost their unborn baby daughter Peach to a fatal genetic condition, the situation is Zack and Whitney's worst nightmare.

The couple are flooded with relief but not only is Whitney given the all clear, the baby is healthy, too.

After returning to Bianca's house following the hospital visit, Whitney and Zack are stunned to see Britney's mum being arrested for drug dealing.

When Whitney finds out that Britney has gone missing, she's terrified for the young girl and insists on going to search for her, despite Bianca imploring Whitney to rest after her ordeal.

Fortunately, Zack finds Britney and calls Whitney to let her know that she's fine. After turning over the young girl to the social worker, Whitney bursts out that she and Zack can care for her until something official is sorted out.

Whitney and Zack are already officially cleared to be foster carers after signing up for the role following Peach's death and Whitney's initial insistence that she didn't want to get pregnant again.

As the words come out of Whitney's mouth, it leaves Zack stunned, as they've not discussed taking in Britney. He can't believe she'd make such a huge decision without checking with him first.

Frustrated by Whitney's actions, Zack insists that he needs to go back to Walford, whether it's with or without her. He's devastated when Whitney insists she's going nowhere.

After watching Zack walk away, Whitney continues her mission to help Britney and she visits Keeley to give her a few home truths.

Keeley is NOT appreciative of Whitney criticising her and her parenting, but Whitney's left stunned when Keeley makes a shocking offer.

Not able to cope with looking after her kids, Keeley tells Whitney that if she really cared about Britney then she'd take her in.

What will Whitney say?

Also, Sonia Fowler has a heart-to-heart with sister Bianca Jackson about her struggle to conceive. Sonia has been having IVF with partner Reiss Colwell but so far it's not been a success and the desire for a baby is tearing her apart.

Zack Hudson threatens to destroy his life with Whitney when he makes a HUGE mistake

Zack Hudson is back in Walford after falling out with his pregnant girlfriend Whitney Dean. The couple had a bust-up over her decision to stick around in Milton Keynes with step-mum Bianca Jackson to help neglected child Britney.

Wandering past Whitney's stall, he sees sisters Lauren Branning and Penny Branning, who are filling in for her. When he stops to chat, he's confronted by Sonia Fowler, who berates him for leaving Whitney behind.

Zack confesses the whole situation to a stunned Lauren, who didn't even know Whitney was pregnant. She can see he's struggling and she offers her support.

When Zack later starts downing drinks in The Vic, a worried Lauren calls Whitney, but she refuses to return home despite Lauren's plea.

Resolving to stop Zack from drinking himself into oblivion, Lauren suggests he get himself some food to soak up the booze and Zack latches on to her concern.

He doesn't have the best record when it comes to confronting relationship troubles, however, and a rough patch with former girlfriend Nancy Carter saw Zack cheat on her with Sam Mitchell.

Misreading the signals, Zack drunkenly leans in for a kiss.

Will Lauren respond?

Gina Knight is determined to cheer up dad George Knight, who is feeling very low in the run up to his adoptive dad Eddie Knight's trial for murder.

Whipping out her credit card, she books the family a holiday to Jamaica, not knowing that the truth that George's birth parents were from Africa and not the Caribbean.

George has been keeping secret the shock news that his parents were Ghanaian and left him with Eddie and his adoptive mum Gloria when he was just baby.

When his real dad came back to collect him, Eddie beat him up to stop him taking George and ended up killing him.

When an excited Gina reveals she's booked them a trip to Jamaica, she's stunned when a triggered George sternly insists he doesn't want to go.

Can he make things right with his upset daughter?

Denzel Danes is over the moon when a popular fitness influencer asks him to do a video for a collab. Ever since Denzel was left humiliated when he was beaten up by bullies, he's thrown himself into training at the gym.

Denzel enlists Nugget Gulati's help in taking the video and he's happy to do it. But as usual, am impulsive Nugget acts before he thinks and uploads the video without telling Denzel he's about to do it.

When Denzel sees that the video has gone live, the teenager is gutted to read nasty comments about his physique.

Struggling with his self image, when one commenter mentions taking steroids to get buff, Denzel is tempted. Without even considering the dangers, he resolves to look into finding out where he can buy them from.

Also, Sonia Fowler's yearning for a baby of her own threatens to overwhelm her after she looks after Lily Slater's baby daughter Charli Branning Slater.

Sonia Fowler makes a shocking baby confession to Reiss Colwell

Sonia Fowler has been struggling to keep positive as her IVF journey with boyfriend Reiss Colwell has yet to bless them with the baby they so desperately want.

Although having a baby wasn't on her radar when she first got together with Reiss, after he confessed how much he wanted to be a father, she was completely onboard.

With Reiss's low sperm count, they opted for private IVF, as Sonia wasn't eligible for NHS treatment because she'd already had a daughter, Bex Fowler.

After the initial consultations, Sonia started to get excited about having a family with Reiss and when the first round failed, she was heartbroken.

Recently, she discovered that step niece Whitney Dean is pregnant and has been alarmed at how jealous she feels. Admitting her thoughts to Reiss, she confesses that she feels guilty for her reaction to Whitney's news.

Always one for finding a 'solution' to any problem, Reiss suggests Sonia could start journaling her feelings to help her deal with them. In the past, Reiss's not very helpful suggestions and his habit of fussing over Sonia have left her annoyed and frustrated.

Will this push them further apart?

Cindy Beale knows how cut up ex George Knight is about recent family revelations. George has struggled to share the true terrible story about his adoption with daughters Gina Knight and Anna Knight, as he's not quite got his head round it himself.

As George is clearly finding it increasingly difficult to keep all the family secrets to himself, Cindy urges him to tell Gina and Anna that his birth parents are African and not Jamaican.

An oblivious Gina has booked them all an expensive family holiday in Jamaica to explore their 'roots', and was shocked when George closed it down.

Seeing sense in Cindy's words, George prepares to confess but when Gina pleads with him to agree to a holiday, admitting the flights have cost her five grand, will he keep the news to himself?

Denzel Danes has been struggling with his self image in recent weeks and nasty comments posted about his fitness video have only made him feel worse.

Although Denzel has been going to the gym any opportunity he can get, the teenager is feeling miserable that he still doesn't have the 'perfect' body that he sees online.

After someone commented that he needs to get himself some steroids, Denzel resolved to try them out, despite the obvious dangers.

With Denzel's dad Howie Danes and his girlfriend Kim Fox away working on a cruise ship, he turns to Yolande Trueman, who is caring for him with husband Patrick Trueman while Howie is away.

Asking Yolande money that he claims is for 'a school trip', Denzel secretly plans to use the cash to buy steroids...

In a special episode covering the events of five weeks, Whitney and Zack arrive in Milton Keynes to visit Bianca.

Whitney befriends a local child called Britney, but becomes concerned when she finds her rifling through some bins for food. Bianca explains that Britney and her brother Taylor live with their mum Keeley, who struggles with a drug addiction.

Later in the week, Whitney demands an explanation from Keeley after Britney and Taylor get locked out of their flat.

In the present day, Whitney visits Britney's school and discovers that the young girl hasn't been enrolled since 2020. Whitney arrives back at Bianca's and discovers that Sonia is paying her own visit.

After Whitney spots a gash on Britney's leg, she decides to confront Keeley again. The situation gets out of hand and Britney rushes off, with Whitney in hot pursuit.

Events come to a head when Britney accidentally steps out in front of a speeding car. Whitney pushes her out of the way, but gets hit by the vehicle herself.

Whitney is rushed to hospital, where doctors reveal that the baby is fine. When Whitney arrives back at Bianca's place, she discovers that Keeley has been arrested for drug dealing and Britney has gone missing. Fortunately, Zack manages to find Britney.

Whitney wants to look after Britney while the social worker arranges the official plans, but Zack is sceptical and decides to head home to Walford without Whitney.

Once Zack leaves, Whitney confronts Keeley with some home truths about her parenting. Keeley claims that if Whitney really cared about Britney, she'd take her off her hands.

Meanwhile, Sonia and Bianca have a heart-to-heart about Sonia's struggles to conceive.

Zack is back in Walford, but Sonia isn't happy when she finds out that he left Whitney in Milton Keynes. Lauren speaks to Zack, then calls Whitney to express concerns about his state of mind. Despite this, Whitney is determined to stay in Milton Keynes for Britney.

Lauren stops Zack from drinking too much at The Vic and offers him some food so that he can sober up. Zack misreads Lauren's kindness and leans in to kiss her.

Meanwhile, Denzel is pleased that a popular fitness influencer wants to collaborate on a workout video. Nugget helps but goes ahead and posts the video without Denzel's knowledge. Denzel is left upset by cruel online comments about his physique.

When Denzel later reads a comment about steroids, he decides to investigate the possibility of using them himself.

Elsewhere, George dismisses Gina's idea of a family holiday to Jamaica, having concealed the truth about their heritage. Gina is confused by his outburst.

Also today, Sonia's longing for a baby grows as she looks after Charli.

Meanwhile, Sonia confides in Reiss about Whitney's pregnancy and how she can't help feeling jealous. Reiss suggests that Sonia should write a journal about how she's feeling.

Elsewhere, Denzel lies to Yolande about needing money for a school trip, but he uses the cash to buy steroids.

Also today, George prepares to tell Anna and Gina the truth about his heritage, but before he can, Gina urges him to agree to the holiday idea as she has spent ?5,000 on flights.
