John will soon face a new nightmare in Coronation Street when Colin's mother Joy arrives on his doorstep unexpectedly.

Joy tells John and Fiz that she is desperate to get back in contact with her son because her health is on a downward spiral and she fears she may never see him again if the current situation doesn't change.

John feigns ignorance as Joy questions where Colin could be, but Fiz reveals that his last known workplace was a bookshop in town.

Joy heads off to investigate but returns later with the news that nobody has seen Colin since he was attacked by an angry man some months ago. Struggling with the discovery that something terrible could have happened to her son, Joy's legs give way beneath her…

On the day of John's birthday, Charlotte calls him in a distressed state meaning that he has to concoct a cover story for Fiz in order to go and see her.

Fiz is still stressed out by the mystery stalker and the day goes from bad to worse when Colin Fishwick's elderly mother turns up at the house looking for her son…

Meanwhile, Molly is desperate to come clean to Tyrone but his mind is elsewhere as he plans to scatter Jack and Vera's ashes. Kevin tries once more to convince her that her dreams of playing happy families with him and baby Jack are never going to happen.

Elsewhere, Peter secretly accompanies Carla to her drink drive hearing; Claire forces Ashley to tell Graeme about their plans to sell up; and Nick and Leanne are almost caught at it by Ciaran at The Joinery.

8-30pm

Joy Fishwick's appearance has sent John into a tailspin as she reveals that she just wants to see her son again as she is ill. Fiz tries to help telling Joy about Colin's job, so she heads off to the bookshop where he had been working.

Joy soon discovers that Colin has left his bedsit and has not been seen since he was attacked at work a few months ago. After she reports the news back to the Stapes, Fiz tells John that she thinks she should tell the police that she knows who Colin's attacker was.

Meanwhile, Leanne continues to confide in Carla about her clandestine relationship with Nick. Carla is secretly pleased to be in the know - especially as her feelings for Peter are growing.

Elsewhere, Sally is confused by Kevin's foul mood; Jason and Rosie have an uncomfortable date; and Graeme has ambitious plans to buy the butchers from Claire and Ashley when they move to France.

Thursday 25th 9-00pm

John tells Charlotte that Colin's mother has been round looking for him. Upset by the news, Charlotte desperately clings to John.

Later, when Charlotte eventually falls asleep, John is stunned to discover Chesney's keys and he finally realises that Charlotte is the stalker.

Meanwhile, Michelle is suspicious of Carla's behaviour and checks out her mobile phone. Discovering that she has been ringing Peter Barlow, Michelle confides in Ciaran, who tackles his mate and demands some answers.

Elsewhere, Kevin begs Pam to talk some sense into Molly; Gary arrives home from hospital but he's not the man he was; David gets his diagnosis from the hospital; and Molly tells Pam that she can't stay in a loveless marriage.

Friday 26th 7-30pm

Nick and Leanne are still living dangerously as their affair continues. They manage to grab some time alone at number 8, but hadn't bargained on Gail and David returning. Will they be caught in the act or will it be another lucky escape for the pair?

Meanwhile, Michelle is increasingly suspicious when she sees Peter and Carla talking. She tackles Peter who denies they are having an affair - but will he keep Carla's secret?

Elsewhere, determined to put a stop to her games, John confronts Charlotte about being the stalker. Charlotte admits she is the stalker but surprises John with an indecent proposal.

Also in this visit to Weatherfield, the Windasses struggle with Gary's emotions as he prepares to visit Quinny's parents.

8-30pm

Charlotte wants John to live double life with her and appears to have it all worked out - John should spend weekends with her and weekdays with Fiz!

John is horrified, but Charlotte makes it clear that she won't accept rejection - leaving John to weave a new web of lies for Fiz.

Meanwhile, Leanne is upset when she realises she missed the school concert because she was in bed with Nick. It's the wake-up call she needs and she tells Nick she can't continue the affair, but does she mean it?

Elsewhere, Kevin spends more time with baby Jack, and Gary can't face going to see Quinny's parents so spends the day with Izzy instead.
