The Police want to know who tried to kill Paul Robinson and Declan finds himself the prime suspect. Meanwhile, Summer is haunted by the thought that Andrew may have been responsible. His violent temper does nothing to assuage these fears. Will she betray her friend and tell the Police?
Ben’s accused of cheating. Libby’s convinced he’s gifted. Is she just another pushy parent or does she understand her son better than anyone?

After witnessing Summer’s apparent betrayal of Andrew, Natasha is keen to show her support. When Andrew’s harassed by the press, Natasha’s attempt to distract them with claims she saw who pushed Paul leads to more trouble than she anticipated.
Ben has some exciting news. He's been chosen to do a speech at the school assembly, but he's upset because his teacher think he's cheated. At first, Libby is worried that he has cheated but then she learns Ben's side and realises she needs to investigate further. She sets up a meeting with the teacher, and clashes with her immediately. She hasn't got any proof that Ben has cheated, and libby takes a closer look at Ben's work. It's great. Libby thinks Ben might be a gifted writer and she decides to get him tested, to prove Miss Rushmore wrong.
When Ben is accepted into a highly prestigious arts school, Libby baulks at letting him go. She claims the school’s too far away and too expensive. But when Karl and Susan offer to cover his fees, Libby’s forced to confess that she doesn’t want him to go because she’d miss him too much. Karl and Susan remind her that letting children live their own lives is all part of parenting, allowing Libby to realise that despite the pain, it’s Ben’s time to leave.

Summer and Natasha struggle to put their differences aside as they try to find a way to make amends with Andrew. Their first attempt at a joint apology falls flat when Andrew insists he doesn’t need either of them - he’s going to find out who pushed his Dad on his own. Concerned for his wellbeing, Summer and Natasha realise Andrew needs them to make sure he doesn’t get into any trouble. Finally able to work together, they reunite with Andrew and the three friends start their quest. But where will it lead them?
Concerned about the toll all the recent stress is taking on Toadie, Sonya gently coaxes him into turning off his phone and relaxing. But just as Toadie is beginning to chill out, Andrew swings Toadie back into stress. How can he possibly take time off when the whole street is in crisis? Toadie’s stress is heightened when he turns his phone back on to realise he’s missed an important call from Steph asking him to call her back. She has some startling news!
