I read somewhere that Debbie might have a deadly disease, like cancer or HIV. Does anyone know if it's true. It's also rumored that it might be Sarah who is ill.

Emmerdale star Charley Webb has revealed that Debbie Dingle's pregnancy marks the beginning of a long-term storyline for the character.

Last night, viewers saw Debbie confess that she is expecting a baby in a heart-to-heart with Chas and mum Charity.

Speaking on This Morning today, Webb hinted that Debbie's pregnancy news will only be the start of the drama in store for her over the coming months.

Asked where the story could go from here, the actress replied: "Well, who knows? Another baby on set - that's the big thing!

"This is kind of the start of a storyline that is going to develop in many ways and go on for quite a while. So this is just the beginning, really."

Emmerdale bosses have tipped Debbie for a big storyline for some time, but full details of what lies ahead have yet to emerge.

In an interview with DS earlier this year, executive producer Steve November promised that Debbie's plot would run "for this year and through into next".

Speaking at the time, he added: "Debbie's story will be huge and I think it'll be a big talking point. It will really challenge the characters and challenge the viewers - it's a fantastic story that will really touch Debbie and everyone around her."

Tension between Debbie and her partner Cameron continues in tonight's episode of Emmerdale as she confronts him over her suspicions that he is having an affair.

Charley Webb talks to Soaplife about Debbie's troubles with her daughter, Sarah, and boyfriend Cameron...

Earlier this year, Emmerdale bosses promised Debbie would be involved in a huge storyline... and her daughter Sarah's mysterious bruises seem to be the start of it. "Debbie presumes the first bruise is a result of playing, but then Sarah gets another one and Debbie starts to get concerned," says Charley. "She doesn’t want to think Cameron's involved, but she can't dismiss it." So could Cameron be a child abuser?

Kids get bruises all the time. Why is Debbie so worried about Sarah’s?
"She does think it probably happened while Sarah was playing with Samson – maybe she fell over or he hit her. Debbie knows Samson’s not really aggressive. And it's quite a big bruise for that..."

    What does Sarah say happened?
"Nothing. She's keeping very quiet and this makes Debbie suspicious, especially when Sarah gets another bruise."

It makes Andy suspicious, too - of Cameron.
"Debbie's annoyed, but she does understand Andy's thinking. Sarah's his little girl and he hardly knows Cameron. Also, the bruises do seem to come after Cameron's been looking after her."

    We know Debbie questions Cameron...
"She does imply he might have something to do with it. He's deeply hurt she could ever suspect him. She doesn't really, though. She feels sure that he'd never do anything like that."

    So what's wrong with Sarah?
"Sarah's not herself. She's very tired and a bit down, but she says she hasn't fallen or been in a fight with anyone. It doesn't make sense. Debbie can't understand why Sarah keeps getting these big bruises..."

Emmerdale star Dominic Power has defended his character Cameron Murray's attempts to bring down the Kings, insisting that his alter ego is a "nice guy" at heart.

Cameron has been trying to lure clients away from Carl's haulage business in this week's episodes after deciding to go solo. The situation takes a new twist in the coming days when Cameron, Cain and Charity team up to steal vans from Emmerdale Haulage.

Power has now told ITV.com that Cameron's main motivation is revenge after Carl (Tom Lister) previously tried to break up his relationship with Debbie Dingle (Charley Webb).

"Cameron is loving every minute of making Carl squirm," the actor explained. "It comes back to the point where he tried to ruin things between Cameron and Debbie, and no-one messes with Cameron's Debbie.

"Cameron is a nice guy, and I won't have anyone say any different! But he will not be taken for a fool."

Power also revealed that he has enjoyed the chance to show Cameron on the same side as Cain (Jeff Hordley) against the Kings.

"I am not a Dingle, but I am hugely proud to be part of the Dingle clan and this forthcoming escapade has made me feel more welcome in the Dingle household," he said.

Discussing his character's future, Power continued: "Cameron's been hiding stuff so far, and it's about not letting it release too quickly out into the open. So if anything, he's just got to keep checking himself. Watch this space!"

Emmerdale star Dominic Power has admitted that he does not want his character Cameron Murray to split from Debbie Dingle.

Cameron's relationship with Debbie (Charley Webb) has come under strain in recent weeks due to her attempts to have another baby with her ex Andy Sugden (Kelvin Fletcher) as a saviour sibling for their ill daughter Sarah.

As seen in pictures released yesterday, tensions over the situation will reach boiling point over the festive season as Cameron, Debbie, Andy and Alicia Gallagher (Natalie Anderson) all sit down for Christmas dinner together.

Power told Take It Easy of Cameron's Christmas: "On the exterior, he's trying to elastoplast a smile on for the sake of Debbie, but I think at some point he will implode or explode, one of the two, possibly into the New Year.

"Around Christmas, he becomes a bit of a peacemaker because everyone's so tense because of the situation. Christmas is stressful anyway as everyone has such high expectations. When there's alcohol involved and that kind of anticipation of the perfect day, then expect some stress."

Asked whether Cameron and Debbie can survive such a challenging time, he replied: "They both hope so, because they're having lots of fun together. It would be great to ride this one out, because every day Charley Webb and I turn up to work and make each other laugh. It's a relationship that's growing between two actors - there's definitely some mileage in it."

Cameron arrived in the village in March after previously having an affair with Debbie in Jersey.

in Emmerdale, Debbie and Andy's plan to save seriously-ill Sarah hits another stumbling block as they prepare to sleep together.

Debbie (Charley Webb) and Andy (Kelvin Fletcher) recently agreed to try having a baby together the natural way as they are running out of time to conceive a saviour sibling for Sarah.

When the all-important day finally arrives, Debbie is awkward when she turns up at Andy's to have sex with him, but she tries her best to ignore her nerves.

In the end, though, Andy is left humiliated when Debbie admits that she can't go through with it and quickly leaves.

Debbie's plans are shattered the next day when an embarrassed and rejected Andy refuses to try again. Determined that they can still make things work, what will desperate Debbie do next?

Emmerdale star Kelvin Fletcher has admitted that he feels torn over where Andy, Debbie and Cameron's storyline should go next.

Debbie (Charley Webb) is currently in a serious relationship with Cameron (Dominic Power), but is desperate for a saviour baby with Andy to help their daughter Sarah, who is seriously ill.

Next week's episodes see Debbie and Andy sleep together as part of the plan - leaving Andy with reignited feelings for his ex.

Speaking to All About Soap about whether an Andy and Debbie reunion could be on the cards, Fletcher explained: "I love working with Charley Webb, so selfishly, as an actor, I think Andy and Debbie would be a great couple. But as a viewer, I'd hate to see Debbie walk out on Cameron, because he's a good guy."

Debbie and Andy decide not to tell anyone that they went through with having sex, but Fletcher added that it may not stay secret for long.

"If Andy grows more jealous of Cameron, he might decide to use this knowledge as ammunition," he explained.

"Andy's starting to believe Debbie likes him and he thinks Cameron has a right to know that, but he isn't vindictive enough to use it at the moment - although when you want something badly enough, you resort to extreme measures."

Emmerdale continues on Monday at 7pm on ITV1.

Emmerdale star Charley Webb has revealed that she is not expecting a reunion storyline for Debbie Dingle and Andy Sugden.

Debbie and Andy recently slept together as they are trying to conceive a saviour sibling for their young daughter Sarah, who needs a bone marrow match as she is seriously ill.

In the aftermath of the pair's sexual encounter, Andy (Kelvin Fletcher) has struggled with his confused feelings for Debbie and seems to be falling in love with her.

However, asked whether Debbie will ever feel the same way, Webb told All About Soap: "No, I don't think she was even in love with him before.

"They had a childish relationship and she fell pregnant with Sarah, but she has moved on and is happy with Cameron. She wouldn't want to mess up what she has with him."

Webb said that the current situation becomes more complicated next week when Debbie discovers that she is finally pregnant.

"Andy's delighted and it makes his feelings for her even stronger," she explained. "But the closer they're getting, the more he's reading into the situation. He's thrilled for Sarah, but it also makes him hopeful there might be a future for him and Debbie."

Emmerdale continues tonight at 7pm on ITV1.
