ACTRESS Vicky Entwistle has hinted her Coronation Street character Janice Battersby could be making her way back to Weatherfield.

If Janice did return, her two on-screen daughters Leanne (Jane Danson) and Toyah (Georgia Taylor) would surely be grateful following nasty Nick Tilsley’s outburst during Wednesday night’s episode.

As Nick (Ben Price) turned on Leanne for helping Peter Barlow, viewers were horrified as they watched him verbally destroy her.

And Vicki was less than impressed, tweeting: “Think I may have to take you in hand lad.”

Her followers couldn’t hide their excitement at her message and were quick to ask whether she’d be making a return to the hit ITV soap.

One tweeted: “I think Janice and Les need to make a return!”

Les later left the cobbles to seek his fortune as a roadie, while Janice ran off into the sunset with her new lover in 2011
Another told Vicky: “Would love to see Janice come back and tear a strip off Nick.”

Earlier this week Georgia fuelled the rumours Janice and Les – played by Bruce Jones – could be making a comeback.
