One Walford resident will be left fighting for their life on EastEnders next week, as the aftermath of Sharon and Phil's wedding has serious consequences.

As everyone heads back to The Vic following the eventful proceedings, further drama soon ensues and there are some devastating and irreversible public revelations.

With tensions running running high, it is not long before Shirley (Linda Henry) finds herself coming face to face with Phil and Sharon.

When the gun Sharon that has been hoarding is brought into the mix, a shot rings out across the Square and one Albert Square resident is left fighting for their life

Monday

Phil and Sharon's wedding day continues and it's time for them to exchange their vows. However, as Phil waits at the registry office surrounded by their wedding guests, there's no sign of Sharon. Events take a further twist when Shirley arrives instead!

Shirley has some home truths for Phil, while Sharon is also being forced to face facts back at The Vic. Will the wedding go ahead? Whatever happens, the gun which Shirley found in Sharon's bag is now in her possession…

Meanwhile, Roxy has realised that Ronnie is pregnant with Charlie's baby, so she avoids the wedding so that she can quiz her sister for information. However, Roxy also has to open up over her own relationship as she tells Ronnie about Aleks being married. Following some encouragement from Ronnie, Roxy gives Aleks an ultimatum to prove his feelings within the day. Fortunately for Roxy, Aleks embraces the challenge by suggesting that they should immediately go off for a holiday with Amy.

Elsewhere, Abi feels uneasy when Aunt Sal mistakes Lola for Jay's girlfriend. Ben is also concerned for Abi, telling her that he thinks Jay is in love with Lola.

Also, Tina tells Dean that she hopes to marry Tosh, causing him to panic and tell Tosh. Tosh then reveals everything to Tina, much to Dean's frustration.


Tuesday

Everyone is back at The Vic following recent eventful proceedings, so it's now time for some unusual speeches. As Jay, Ben, Phil, Aunt Sal, Sharon and Shirley all take the chance to speak, there are some devastating and irreversible revelations…

Meanwhile, Tina is furious following Tosh's confession about her and Dean, but the tables turn when Tosh accuses Tina of not loving her.

Elsewhere, Dean is livid when Lauren ends their relationship - and Whitney is shocked to witness his temper afterwards. Abi is also having relationship drama as she decides to confront Jay.

Also, Ronnie shocks Charlie by telling him that she is pregnant with his baby. When Dot spots the pair arguing in the Square, she forces them to talk about the situation properly as adults. Ronnie insists that she can look after the baby alone, and although Charlie doesn't argue, Dot is adamant that this is the wrong move.

Finally, as Aleks bundles Roxy and Amy into a cab for the airport, he spots his wife Marta and daughter Ineta arrive in Walford. When they ask Tamwar for help, he is shocked to realise who they are.


Thursday

Tensions continue to run high and Shirley soon comes face-to-face with Phil and Sharon. When the gun that Sharon has been hoarding is brought into the mix, a shot ends up ringing out across Albert Square…

Meanwhile, Whitney is still shocked after witnessing Dean's temper. She goes after Lauren, who calls Peter but gets no response. When Whitney asks whether Lauren left Dean because of Peter, Lauren refuses to open up about her true feelings.

At the same time, Peter has packed his bags and given Cindy a note to give to Ian. When Cindy reads it, she is horrified and takes it straight to Lauren. The note reveals that Peter has decided to escape Walford by fleeing to New Zealand.

Elsewhere, a drunken Abi gets a devastating setback when Jay ends their relationship, telling her that he needs to stay in Walford. Abi is convinced that Lola is behind Jay's decision and snaps.


Friday

There's tragedy in Albert Square as one resident is fighting for their life. The families of both the victim and the culprit are devastated by the far-reaching consequences of the shooting.

Meanwhile, Lauren finds Peter at the Tube station just in time. Wanting to stop him from leaving Walford forever, Lauren confesses that she loves Peter and they embrace. Will Peter stay on Albert Square?

Elsewhere, when Emma arrives to see Max, she is shocked by Abi's cold demeanour. After Abi goes upstairs, Emma delights Max by revealing that she came to see Max because she missed him.

Ian Beale is a man on a mission in EastEnders tonight (September 29) as he urges Sharon Rickman not to marry Phil Mitchell.

After turning up on the Square just as Sharon was leaving for the ceremony, Ian (Adam Woodyatt) rushes her back into The Vic so that he can say his piece on her wedding plans.

Although a defensive Sharon (Letitia Dean) is quick to point out that Phil has been a huge source of support for Ian this year, he still insists that she is asking for trouble if she ties the knot with him.

With the clock ticking and Sharon already late for the nuptials, she continues to listen to Ian's protests - but will she actually take his advice on board?
