Donna finds herself dragged down to the police station. As the community rallies behind her, she maintains her innocence but the evidence mounts. She makes an impassioned plea to Ringo but he’s torn, unsure whether to believe her or not. Will Ringo come to her rescue?
Libby’s outraged when she discovers Doug’s role in Donna’s arrest. She gives him a piece of her mind – only to have Doug call her on one of her flaws: she can’t admit when she’s wrong.

Ringo refuses to give into Naomi’s pleas, but after hearing them, Donna’s determined something is wrong and heads off to find her, to no avail. Arriving at the hospital for an observational round, Ringo discovers Naomi’s been hit by a car and is unconscious. Karl assures Ringo he’s not at fault and advises he not be with her when she wakes but Ringo’s had enough of Karl’s advice. When Karl moves Naomi to another facility in order to protect Ringo, Doug gives Karl an official reprimand for ignoring his authority and going over his head. Needing closure, Ringo tracks Naomi down, but is shocked at her words and makes a surprise announcement about his future.
Michael implements a first name policy at school between teachers and students. When the kids take too many liberties in Libby’s class she overrules the policy and goes back to the old ways. After a run in with Libby over using a mobile phone in class, Natasha decides to exact her revenge. Will she be able to manipulate Michael to humiliate Libby?

Lyn flat out refuses to support Steph and Toadie’s marriage despite their attempts to convince her otherwise. When Steph admits the real reason why her and Toadie are getting married, Lyn is devastated and inadvertently lets her concerns slip to Susan. When Steph discovers her mother’s betrayal she decides there is only one way she can protect herself.
Donna desperately tries to help Ringo realise he’s making a mistake, but her attempts go horribly wrong and she discovers that his issues run deeper than his failure and everyone is shocked with his ultimate decision.

Struggling with her declaration to her mother, Steph is horrified to hear that she is leaving and when Susan starts getting too close to finding out why, Steph realises that she needs her mother more than ever and begs her to stay. Steph’s unaware that Lyn is still struggling with burying her true feelings and enlists the help of Father Corrigan. After unburdening herself to him, she’s surprised by his take on Steph and Toadie’s relationship.
Natasha is furious at losing her place as most popular in the school to the new ‘it’ couple Summer and Chris. Frustrated that neither Andrew nor Harry will help her regain her throne, Natasha creates a rumour to ruin Chris’ reputation. Upset for Chris, Summer asks Harry to help, but can he put aside his feelings to do so?

Natasha’s continuing campaign against Chris and Summer eventually comes unstuck and Michael discovers she was behind the rumours. Forced to humiliate herself by apologising, it’s compounded by discovering her contract as the face of Lassisters is under threat, again because of Michael. When Michael ignores her pleas to listen, she holds Andrew to his promise to help her and unleashes her own form of punishment on Michael. Is their relationship beyond repair?
Having hit upon the idea to get her through the wedding, Lyn enacts her plan with mixed results. Will Steph and Toadie come on board the romance train? Kate’ s concerned by Terry’s view on dancing and general dejection. Determined to find something to cheer him up, an unlikely candidate surfaces.
