Emmerdale's Diane Sugden shows what she's made of next week as she launches a vicious hate campaign against the White family.

Diane (Elizabeth Estensen) reacts furiously when she finally hears the truth about how Andy was framed for Lawrence's shooting, which sends her on the warpath in a desperate quest to see justice done.

Still working with Robert, it's Rebecca White (Emily Head) who causes all the trouble when she tries to manipulate Lachlan into revealing where some hidden evidence is which could clear Andy's name.

Rebecca's efforts spark a nasty scuffle between her and her sister Chrissie, which doesn't end favourably for Rebecca when she ends up falling back hard and hitting her head.

Once Rebecca has regained consciousness, she decides she has nothing left to lose and heads off to the Home Farm bonfire - causing a scene by revealing how Lachlan (Thomas Atkinson) shot Lawrence and then Chrissie covered it up by framing Andy.

While this isn't exactly news to everyone, one person who is shellshocked to hear the revelation is Diane.

Still determined to keep the cover-up going, Lawrence claims that Rebecca is lying when Diane demands answers from him.

Not one to be fobbed off so easily, Diane teams up with Rodney and Doug to disrupt a PR event at the Home Farm adventure course.

The unlikely gang of protestors wave placards outside and urge the guests not to go in, but it doesn't take long for the Whites to fight back by considering evicting them from Brook Cottage.

Louise Marwood, who plays Chrissie, revealed: "It's Lawrence who first suggests evicting them because they are up at Home Farm with signs and placards basically protesting over what the Whites have done. So the eviction is mentioned to get them to stop.

"But things get serious when a brick flies through the window. Chrissie is furious and decides enough is enough and says she is calling the police. Lawrence wants to stop her, but she is so angry she won't be stopped by anyone."

Lachlan also plays his own role in fighting back when he films Diane on his phone and goads her until she smacks him.
