Home and Away star Rebecca Breeds has revealed that she would consider launching a singing career in the future.
The 21-year-old has a long-held interest in music but started concentrating solely on acting when she landed her role as Summer Bay's Ruby Buckton in 2008.
Speaking to TV Week, Breeds explained: "Before I got solid acting work, I was pursuing music more and I studied it at uni, but I put too much pressure on myself.
"With acting, it's always been fun and I tell someone else's story, but when I sing it's personal. If the right opportunities came along, I might consider them."
Asked whether she would like to land a recording contract, she replied: "It's the million-dollar question! If it was on my terms at the right time, then yes, but I'm quite happy acting and if that's all I did then that's fantastic. If it doesn't work out, it's not the end of the world."
Breeds's Home and Away character will be seen singing at a school play in a forthcoming episode.
