Mark (Robert Powell) is furious as a strike takes hold at the hospitalHolby City is in chaos, as the medical drama continues. Porters have called a strike and Holby has ground to a halt. Mark is furious as no one seems to be taking any action. He single-handedly resolves the problem and Cunningham is impressed. He later suggests that Mark should consider applying for the CEO post.

Mark as CEO? Hahaha. Can't we just have a decent interesting multi-dimensional *cough*JAYNE*cough* character.
Peter: So how many are there? Is it bad? Olivia: Did you eat? Peter: Yeah. Olivia: Well, that's unfortunate.

Why can't they just appoint a CEO and then we never hear about them? Just concertrate on the medical staff not admin.

I think they are trying to make it all 'oh look how the NHS is getting all political' but doing it in a really dull way!

Less politics and more on-call room action like in Grey's is what we need.

I know! Its dramatic and cut throat etc etc. And I love the Chief. I don't really love Michael as a DOS, as sexy as he may be.

When Holby does politics its like an 8.30 lecture that lasts 2 hours.
