Coronation Street's new family have been given a different surname ahead of their screen debut later this month.
Newcomers Izzy and Owen were originally - and possibly unofficially - given the surname 'Butterfield' but have since been renamed 'Armstrong'.
It's common for characters' first and last names to be changed at storyline and script stages - although producers obviously have to make their mind up about Christian names before filming!
At the beginning of the year, Cherylee Houston joined the Weatherfield soap as its first regular disabled character Izzy. She makes her first appearance during Friday evening's second episode when Kirk Sutherland talks her into joining him at The Rovers for a date, despite having sent her a picture of Jason Grimshaw.
Shortly after, DS exclusively revealed that her father Owen would be played by Ian Puleston-Davies.
