Former Hollyoaks star Loui Batley has declared that she wants a part in Coronation Street.
The 22-year-old exited the Chester-based soap last year when her character Sarah Barnes fell to her death in a sabotaged parachute jump.
Batley has now told The AP: "I'd be completely open to another soap - I've always liked Corrie.
"And I'm a Northerner so I'd fit in. I don't really watch soaps any more but it was a family tradition to sit down with our tea and watch Corrie. The characters are ace."
The actress affirmed that she is pleased her Hollyoaks character has been killed off as it allows her to focus on the future.
"I said I'd really like a dramatic ending and I didn't mind if I died," Batley explained. "There will probably be a point when I really want to go back but it doesn't give me that choice which is nice. That was my four years done and it's great to move on."
