    Bradley's funeral

DEVASTATED Max Branning clutches his son Bradley's wedding shoes as he stands over his body in a morgue.
Max (Jake Wood) collects Bradley's possessions and spends a private moment with him in Monday's tearjerker episode on BBC1.

Nearly 17million saw Bradley (Charlie Clements) plunge to his death in Friday's live show.

His dramatic exit, revealed by The Sun last month, saved wife Stacey (Lacey Turner) from being locked up for Archie Mitchell's murder.

But actor Charlie, 22, was full of life yesterday - dancing on the tables at his leaving party in Cafe De Paris, central London.

Lacey, 21, popped in to say goodbye as Charlie and his pals ran up a £5,000 bar bill.

so sad... poor Max (I had a feeling that Jake was crying real tears on Friday as it would be the last time he would be working with Charlie)

His acting was really superb on friday. You could almost feel the pain.
    (except for the throat thing)

Must say Max was never my favourite but Jake Wood does a good job for making us hate him.

I've always loved Max, whether he's being good or bad, because he's so watchable. Jake Wood does a fantastic job of playing him.
