2726: Cheryl tells Gilly that she's moving in

Cheryl's beside herself with excitement as she plans her wedding but Lauren's worried that she's going to lose the only person she can talk to. Gilly, however, is desperate to wriggle out of their engagement, while Rhys is thoroughly enjoying his friend's predicament, knowing that Cheryl's not going to let him back out too easily.
Gilly calls round to the Valentines' with the view to calling time on his relationship and engagement but he can't go through with it when Cheryl reveals how happy he's made her. Gilly does everything he can to put Cheryl off marrying him but his plan completely backfires when she announces that she's moving in with him…
Meanwhile, Elliot's stressed as he revises for his finals and can't afford to be distracted by Sheila. He feels guilty not spending time with her and reluctantly agrees to meet up later in the day.
Anita's feeling down without her friends and enjoys some time out with her sister but she's not happy when Elliot interrupts - and Leila turns her attentions to him. Elliot welcomes Leila's company as he's struggling to concentrate on his work. He soon forgets his own problems when she reveals that she has an interview with artist Jack Welsh - but she's not ready for it.
Elliot gives Sheila the brush off to help Leila prepare but Sheila's fuming when she sees them together and ends their relationship. Meanwhile, a fed up Anita posts a house party invitation on the internet but begins to panic when she realises just how many people she's invited.
Nancy returns from Canada and visits Zoe in hospital. Zoe's overwhelmed to see her after her ordeal and Nancy can't believe what's happened while she's been away. The girls go to see Hannah but they're horrified to see the state she's in. Zoe's suddenly struck with fear at the mention of Lydia's name. She tries to hide it but Nancy senses that she's obviously traumatised by the attack.
Nancy's left with the weight of the world on her shoulders as she realises Hannah's in complete denial over her illness, while Zoe's traumatised and admits that she's terrified of leaving hospital.
Elsewhere, Amy's struggling to bond with the children and having to spend all day, every day with them is getting to her. Michaela's worried about her friend and offers her a part-time job in Evissa to help her out - and Amy's thrilled.
2727: Hannah says that she wants to die

A guilty Darren visits Hannah in hospital, desperate to do anything he can to help. Hannah's not best pleased to see him but secretly feeling quite vulnerable, she tells him that he can accompany her to her counselling session later in the day.
Steph's worried that Darren will do Hannah more harm than good and warns him to leave her alone. He's devastated when Steph blames him for the state Hannah's in and is left shaken when Rhys threatens him, too.
When Darren fails to show up for Hannah's counselling session, Hannah feels let down and unable to cope with the fact that everyone else has someone with them but her, she walks out.
An emotional Darren eventually turns up and tries to reassure Hannah but her paranoia consumes her and she tells Darren she wants to die.
Meanwhile, it's Leila's big moment as she has her interview with artist Jack Welsh. She's shocked, though, when she discovers that the job's in Paris - and it will mean being away from Ravi and Anita who desperately need her.
Anita's pleased when Theresa turns up, having seen the party invite on the internet. With Ravi and Leila out of the way, the girls are excited to get the party started. Ravi and Ste are having a training session but when Ravi knocks himself unconscious, Ste panics and cuts Leila's interview short.
As everyone returns home, the girls realise that no-one's coming to their party. Theresa begs Anita not to tell anyone that she was the only one who turned up and acts cool in front of Ste. However, the girls end up fighting and Leila returns home to find that the sculpture she needs for the exhibition has been smashed to pieces.
Elsewhere, Cheryl's full steam ahead with her plans to move in with Gilly, while he tries every excuse in the book as to why they shouldn't live together. Rhys is gobsmacked to hear that Cheryl and Gilly are moving in together but before he can talk to him properly, Cheryl's there with some information on flats to rent.
Suzanne's touched when Cheryl asks how she's coping with Hannah in hospital and tells Gilly that he has got a special girl - and he only has to ask if he wants her to move in. Gilly's pleased to see Cheryl getting on so well with Suzanne and it makes him think about what he really wants. He's torn, though, when he sees Steph.
After hearing Steph talk about how happy she is with Fernando - and seeing how much Cheryl loves him - Gilly decides to let go of the past and invites Cheryl to move in with him at The Dog.
2728: Darren gives up on Hannah
Airs on Wednesday, January 6 2010 at 18:30 GMT on Channel 4
Darren's in turmoil after Hannah's claims that she wants to die. Sees Zoe - who's just been discharged from hospital - he invites her for a coffee and tells her what Hannah said. Although Zoe's concerned, she's unable to offer Darren any advice. With that, Darren goes to see Jack.
Jack's reluctant to see him at first but listens as Darren reveals all about Hannah and asks for his advice. Although Jack's willing to talk, he remains neutral. Darren takes it as a positive sign but leaves still unsure over his next move with Hannah and confused as to where he stands with his dad.
Darren goes to the hospital to see Hannah and is met by Zoe and Josh who try to stop him seeing her. Darren's had enough and barges past them to confront Hannah, before washing his hands of her.
Meanwhile, Malachy's still in turmoil, having secretly rumbled Mercedes and Calvin's affair. When Spencer asks if he'll take him to the suppliers, Malachy tries to avoid leaving Mercedes and Calvin alone but is forced to leave.
As he's leaving The Loft, he sees Michaela outside Evissa promoting her new Dead Sea Body Wrap and persuades her that Mercedes has been working too hard and deserves a treat.
Mercedes and Calvin are making the most of their time alone and as they discuss whether they could ever be a proper couple, Michaela calls in to whisk Mercedes off for her surprise body wrap - and it's a mad dash to cover their affair.
Michaela tests her new treatment on Mercedes and confides that she's worried about her relationship with Zak. As Michaela tells Mercedes that she's scared Zak will cheat on her, Mercedes is left to contemplate her own situation.
Elsewhere, Leila's furious with Anita after she broke her sculpture. As Ravi and Anita try to calm her down, Leila flips out and tells Anita that she ruins everything - even blaming her sister for Hannah's illness.
Anita's pained by Leila's claims and decides to visit Hannah. Hannah seems genuinely happy to see her but Anita is horrified to see how ill Hannah looks. She's even more shocked to realise that Hannah has no idea how ill she is.
Rummaging through her bag, Anita pulls out a compact mirror and holds it in front of Hannah, urging her to look at what she's doing to herself. Hannah glances at the image before her and knocks the mirror out of Anita's hands. With that, Anita leaves and begins to realise the consequences of her actions.
Also, Fernando's planning to buy a house in Spain and Steph, Frankie and Jack seem excited. Is this really what Steph wants?
2729: Gilly accuses Rhys of sleeping with Cheryl

Gilly suddenly feels uneasy about Rhys being around Cheryl, especially when Jack comments on Rhys's way with the ladies. The more Gilly watches them together, the more his suspicions are aroused as he searches Rhys' room for evidence.
Duncan's almost caught with Suzanne's underwear but quickly hides them out of sight when Gilly walks into the room. When Gilly finds them, though, Duncan's terrified that his secret is out - but he's completely oblivious that Gilly has the wrong end of the stick.
Suzanne and Neville return home as Gilly flies at Rhys, accusing him of sleeping with his fiancée. Duncan, meanwhile, desperately tries to retrieve the knickers without being spotted.
An embarrassed Suzanne is forced to admit the knickers belong to her and it soon becomes apparent that Duncan's responsible. Mortified at being caught out, Duncan tries to cover his tracks but finds himself having to endure a pep-talk from Neville.
Gilly realises that he's made a huge mistake and apologises but Cheryl's hurt by his accusations and refuses to be with someone who doesn't trust her…
Meanwhile, Zoe's concerned about Darren and can't believe that he's given up on Hannah so easily. They're both a little surprised when he vents his frustration at the way Hannah's acting and says a little more than he realises about his feelings for her. Darren gets drunk and makes a pass at Zoe but she's horrified and pushes him away. He's hurt that Zoe's so repulsed by the idea but Zoe realises that he's just trying to hide his upset over Hannah and encourages him to be truthful with her.
Unable to face his true feelings, Darren tells Zoe to face up to her own problems before having a go at him. Zoe visits Hannah in hospital and forces her to admit that she's ill. Hannah finally acknowledges she has an eating disorder and asks for help…
Elsewhere, Leila's worried that Anita didn't return home the previous night and desperately tries to find her. Anita's frightened to go back home and is hiding out in the shack. Elliot, meanwhile, helps Leila hack into Anita's social network site to see if they can find any clues as to her whereabouts.
Leila feels guilty for driving Anita away and it's an emotional reunion when they eventually locate her. Elliot, meanwhile, can't help feeling sorry for Leila as her life is being ruled by her family.
Later, Elliot's surprised to find Sheila waiting for him back at the flat and he's forced to admit his true feelings for Leila. An emotional Sheila realises that it's over between them. Spurred on by Sheila's words, Elliot calls round to see Leila but he's annoyed to find Anita and Ravi arguing without a second thought for her.
Anita and Ravi are shocked when Elliot reveals that Leila's sacrificed her dreams for her family.
2730: Leila leaves the village for a new life in Paris
Airs on Friday, January 8 2010 at 18:30 GMT on Channel 4
Anita and Ravi are determined to help Leila secure her dream job in Paris. Feeling guilty over taking Leila for granted, Ravi and Anita decide to surprise her and piece together her broken sculpture to take to the exhibition for the artist to see. Elliot's quietly gutted when they ask for his help getting her there - as he knows full well that if their plan works, he'll lose her forever.
Elliot finds Leila in the Su Bar and reminded how talented she is when he looks through her work, he knows that he has to put his own feelings aside and let Leila fulfil her dream. When they arrive at the exhibition, Leila's shocked to find artist Jack Welsh admiring her sculpture and is speechless when he offers her the job in Paris - and they're leaving tonight.
Leila's overwhelmed but insists she can't leave. Anita realises that Elliot's the reason behind her decision and tells her to be truthful with him. Leila and Elliot have a heart-to-heart and admit they still love each other, as a heartbroken Leila leaves Hollyoaks for Paris…
Meanwhile, Malachy's angry when Mercedes turns down his surprise because Calvin's asked her to work. Seeing her dressed up and knowing that it's all for Calvin's benefit, Malachy invites the lads over and makes a point of letting Mercedes know that Calvin won't be at The Loft. Mercedes is quietly gutted and takes her frustrations out on Malachy by telling him that he'll have to have his lads' night elsewhere.
Malachy, Calvin and Jake set up their poker game at the Valentines' but there's an underlying tension between Malachy and Calvin as an oblivious Jake quizzes them about their love lives. It all proves too much for Malachy, though, and he storms out.
After spending the evening with Malachy, Calvin feels guilty and when Mercedes turns up on his doorstep, he ends their affair.
Cheryl's back at the Valentines' after finishing with Gilly and plays on her devastation. Lauren's secretly pleased to have her back and they hit the town when Calvin throws them out of the house for his lads' night. Lauren, however, is refused entry to all of the bars and with that, they return to The Loft.
Sasha's not happy that Lauren's there but agrees that she can stay as long as she remains in the office. Unable to go home, Lauren becomes fed up of being on her own as Cheryl makes the most of her night in the bar.
Later, Sasha realises that she hasn't been a very good sister to Lauren recently and promises that they'll do something together.
Elsewhere, Kathleen feigns a migraine to avoid having to do anything at the McQueens'. She panics, though, when Theresa offers to stay and look after her. Kathleen makes her excuses to be left alone but soon makes a miraculous recovery when they leave the house.
Theresa returns home with some lunch for her mum but she's upset to discover that she's not there and waits all day for her return. Jacqui tries to console Theresa and suggests that she's probably gone to the doctors but she's furious when Kathleen turns up drunk and orders her to sleep it off.
