Central heating here broke down today, it couldn't of picked a worse time to do it, minus 3 now and minus 5 later. Have one of those electric radiators and a fan heater on the go and so am toasty warm in my bed room but the rest of the house is like Siberia.

On the positive land ladies school is shut Thursday so shes having a snow day, however Im very dubious we will get any snow.
Hope you get it fixed pronto!!!

We hit a low of -12 (-20 with wind chill) yesterday but thankfully the temps are heading back up and we didn't get much snow. Been nice here, blue skys and lots of sun but very very cold.
    Super Mod

    Liz you made me chuckle.

Boiler man coming Wednesday I could be a bit smelly by then

Down here it is raining on snow and will be sub zero again after 3 am followed by heavy snow through Friday, if I lived anywhere that that was happening I certainly would stay indoors till the thaw on Sat.

Re the boiler, its probably that the intake/outlet is fozen and has caused the issue so ironically a thaw will fix the issue, but it still means Im freezing right now. (well not as much as rough sleepers who my heart goes out to right now)

This is the thing people are pouring boiling water on to unfreeze?

Yippee... made ASDA .. prison time over.. well for now.. Came across in an aisle the bloke with a helper dog as he is profoundly deaf, poor woofer looked as miserable as ever when I see him on my bus of a week day. He looked at me and obviously recognised me and just starred at me with a bit of drawl stringing out the left side of his mouth, the owner as usual not showing any affection to the mut dragged it on.
