Came at the wrong time for our lot to notice. Half term holidays ,grand kids ,noise, the house foundations already shaking. Talking of which how the youngsters get an education nowadays is beyond me, another four weeks and they're off again. I'm sure we never used to have so much holiday time. Mind you a portion of chips and batter bits was 9d then, in the newspaper of course.

What a day!! first of all I am trying ( so far to no avail) to delete my profile from a site specialising in parish records. I have asked them twice and they tell me they can't delete as they have no membership details ( WHAT A LOAD OF NONSENSE). So today I have asked them if there is a facility on the site to delete it. Got 2 interviews next week one volunteering for a local Citizens Advice, the other is at an opticians, finding a job has been one MASSIVE uphill struggle, so I hope this time there will be a more positive outcome.

Why on some forums "coughs" (DS) are there people obsessed with telling you that ya spelling and yas grammer suucks.

HMRC emailed to say there had been a change to my TAX... an hour later in panic I managed finally to log in to my HMRC account to see that I would pay 60 quid less tax next year and not be as I feared sent to prison.

My advice... do not go paperless with the HMRC.. I could of read the letter in seconds and not think for an hour that I was too pretty for prison and that it would only end up one way even without having to drop the soap in the shower.

I have been dealing with hmrc for weeks now what a nightmare ....due to our payroll company giving the same ID for 2 employees in year 2013! Anyway nearly resolved.
I have a nephew coming over via Dubai tomorrow and i am so worried about flights being cancelled. I hope it arrives without any delays.

    fingers crossed for swm

Central heating here broke down today, it couldn't of picked a worse time to do it, minus 3 now and minus 5 later. Have one of those electric radiators and a fan heater on the go and so am toasty warm in my bed room but the rest of the house is like Siberia.

On the positive land ladies school is shut Thursday so shes having a snow day, however Im very dubious we will get any snow.
