My Ode to Autumn
Seasons of mists and mellow fruitfulness ( as the poem Ode to Autumn says), went for a long walk through the local park and really enjoyed the Autumn colours beginning to show through the trees ( Horse Chestnuts and Sycamores). I had managed to avoid showers earlier so I didn't need a raincoat. I then went for some emergency groceries in the local town, parishoners from the local C of E were slowly filtering out of the main door, one or two were carrying their choir clothes ( I din't know what the correct name for them is) concealed and draped over their arms in plastic dry cleaning covers. Others were in conversation about the weather or trips they had made recently. Then punctually as ever the church clock chimed the hour, on my way home I couldn't help noticing that very few birds were singing, the shorter days and longer nights are closing in I told myself and its time to bring the Geraniums in.

You beat CJ.. what kind of hair day was the chap having Until I watched CJ I always thought it was only me who couldnt sort my own hair style out...
But I think Im missing the bullet point here... you bear CJ
Pyro ... loved your ode... the tranquil image of church goers filtering out after their worship with god is very restful and life affirming.
Yes I had to go to three tie break questions as well when I beat CJ. They only showed one on telly. I was a bit disappointed with that.
I have to say that he was a really nice bloke. Him and Kevin were great. We met them all before and after filming and they were so welcoming and really put us all at ease. Both had a great sense of humour. Kevin was self-deprecating and in a way made fun of himself and his image of being a bit of a nerd, but he was far from that TV persona. Daphne was exactly how she seems on telly. Judith was a bit stand-offish and didn't really say much. Chris was just grumpy and didn't seem to want to have to meet contestants!
parkerman, wow, sorry I keep saying wow, but wow... Ive spent 13 years watching everything on telly and not being able to be a part of the world so I probably have seen you on telly as I love quiz shows. So in which case I want to say thank you for entertaining me.
Closest I came to TV was nearly being on Runabout hosted by Frank off Eastenders, gawd bless his soul.
Today I have mostly been struggling to get a cooker delivered via Skype as the land line is smeged.
