LOL Splashy. I`m still awake knitting while watching my soaps. I`m knitting a blanket for my oldest son and his fiancee for their wedding in October. I hope I finish it in time...it`s taking ages.
Enjoy your new specs. Don`t forget to buy a cloth and spray for your lenses. I did read somewhere from an optician that he never bothered with special cloths...he used his silk tie to clean his glasses. I found out to my chagrin that`s what I should`ve used for my lenses instead of tissues over the years. It would`ve saved on the wear and tear.
Oh well, you live and learn huh.

I usually clean the lenses of my glasses with the edge of whatever top I'm wearing (often a t-shirt).

Congratulations to Siobhan for your pay rise and for having such a nice boss!

Congratulations too to swmc66 for your son's maths A-Level. That's very impressive!

    Ditto the above ......

Got my new glasses... yikes ... im using the reading ones now and I can actually use the lap top at normal mode well ish, its more comfortable in magnification of 200% but then pre this I was at 500% mag minimum.

Alas today evil sister rang my land lady and all hell broke out.

But Im still loving my new glasses.

Oh dear, I hope your sister didn't cause any serious problems!

I'm glad your new glasses are working out so well. 500% down to 200% magnification is excellent.

    Thanks Dazzle ...

Now know that evil sister is getting remarried, hence the call to landlady, she never dose nowt without a motive does my evil sis,

When asked about my evil sis I always take the 5th amendment (American right to silence)

Did I tell you all how brilliant my new glasses are... I think I might become very annoying on this topic and soon, very soon
