I used to love watching Mr Benn as a child, as I grew older Saturday mornings were spent watching Swap Shop, Tiswas, during the week there would be Grange Hill. I always looked forward to watching Top of the Pops on Thursdays. Oh what memories!!!

Oh I forgot to mention today ( 31st August) did some gardening, also went for a lovely walk in the local park. Got a job interview next week just hope I get it, so far I have had 14 job refusals since being made redundant last year.

It is hard out there. One of my friends was made redundant about six months ago and she kept getting rejections. She is highly qualified and skilled and it made her lose her confidence. Last week she finally got a job. It is a big relief as it was awful seeing what it was doing to her.
Unfortunately right now it could happen to anyone as the job market is not secure and no job is safe. Wsh you all the best and i admire you for all your efforts.

Not Mr Benn theme, but the here comes Bod one is now stuck in my brain.

The nurse Nicked some of my blood today.... I used to give blood so needles arnt an issue, but the skill of the nurse doing it always impresses me. Any way I only have to wait over a month to find out the results as thats the earliest appointment I could get at my new surgery ... not their fault, I blame the tonkers who dont turn up for their appointments and dont get fined for it. They should be sent to the naughty seat.

Thinking of investing in the nuke bunker companies, can see a demand for them when Trump gets into power, oh that and wall making companies.

There may be some hope yet now some high ups in the Republican party have announced they'll be voting for Hillary. That's sending a very clear message to voters. Trump is unbalanced and even his own party is starting to acknowledge it.

I was on telly tonight. ITV Anglia News, talking about our Summer Season at the West Cliff Theatre, Clacton - the longest running Summer Season in the whole of the UK. Started in 1894 and, apart from the War years has only missed two years in all that time.
