I'm moving home today. I'm completely knackered already!

Congratulations Dazzle.
There is no greater feeling of triumph, and sense of accomplishment when you spend your first night in your new home after all your hard graft and preparation. And no one knows that more than me. As a Navy wife, hubby and I have moved houses (and states) about 8 times in hubby`s Navy 20 year navy career.

Enjoy your new home, and just spend today being lazy - you have earned it.

Time to chill now, take your time in getting sorted and settle in, your house sounds idyllic, may you have many years of happiness and good fortune there

I can top that .. 38 times but in more than 20 years ... hope you are now settled in your home for good ... moving is soooo stressful

Wow Perdita.....that`s way more than me.
My most important thing I learned about packing is that the computer and desk gets moved last, and it`s the first thing that is moved into our new home. LOL. Priorities priorities.
We`ve lived in this house 11 years now.... and its the longest time we have ever lived in one house since before hubby and I were married, and I still lived at home. It feels good to finally put down some roots.
I hope you enjoy many years of happiness Dazzle. I hope you have great neighbours too.
