Sorry to hear that you both had accidents, I hope nobody got hurt. I am sure you will regain your confidence again soon

I second this. I narrowly avoided a domino crash a while back. Double decker bus pulled out on me when I was going around a roundabout. I had to slam my brakes on as did the person behind me. Terrifyingly close to Nissan Micra vs side of bus. Now I don't trust other drivers an inch and hang back rather than driving up alongside large vehicles. An actual crash can only be worse. Take care.

So many more lunatics on the road these days (and I've only been driving 6 years!)

Sorry to hear about your accident and hope you are ok. My boyfriend had a spin in my car when I was only 1 week driving and for months after I was terrified about going around corners in case the backend went out again. I took me a lot of trying and persistence to get my confidence back but I am fine now..

They say the best way to get over falling off a horse is to get back on it .. guess it is the same with driving after a car accident - you need to get back behind the wheel as soon as possible, maybe take a partner/friend with you at first for a few times.

Keep driving Swnc66, it will get easier, and just think of all the times you have been driving and where nothing happened. Focus on all the positive things you like about driving.
