I've received the notification that my copy's on its way now. I'm really looking forward to reading it and finding out about your childhood.

Nearly finished the book. It has been an enjoyable read. I have been reading bits to my neighbour who remembers that period well. You were blessed with really good parents.

Thank you, sw. Yes, I had a very happy childhood thanks to my parents. They were very good to me and continued to be long after I'd left home, got married and had children of my own.

I've received your book, Parkerman, and hope to start reading it soon. I've had a quick look at the photos which are fascinating. I love it when auto-biographical books contain photographs.
