Heard a true story today on the news which gave my faith in human nature a boost. Recently a young female uni student had been out for the night and wanted to get a taxi back home . She discovers she has lost her purse . As she was stood on the street wondering what to do ,in the knowledge she needed £15 for a taxi ,a homeless man sleeping rough asked her if she was alright. She explained what had happened and that she would walk back. The man now known to her as Robbie said it was not safe ,put his hand in his pocket and pulled out a handful of change , money he'd collected during the day. A few pounds I guess and offered it to her, all he had got in the world. She thanked him ,declined and managed to get a taxi and I suppose pay at her destination. She was so moved by Robbie's actions, decided to raise money for the homeless . thinking a target of a few hundred pounds. In the end she raised £29.000 and still continues with her mission. Brought a tear to my eyes hearing the story .So many lessons for us all to learn from Robbie and the young lass's actions......

Hav'nt slept for two days have the investigation interview tomorrow with the second investigator they brought in after getting shot of the first one. This is after the organisation I work for whistleblew on the NHS with me as the main witness. Its all a farce if you ask me. They are determined to let people off scot free and cover up and somehow make me into the guilty party. Apparently they have got 10 witnesses against me. What a surprise ! I dont know why I am even bothering to go through the whole interview process again when it is such a stich up. Its been eight months now since the serious complaint went in. But i can't give up as its not my nature not to see something until the end. I live in hope that someone will see the truth for what it is at some stage. Now I will try and get some sleep.

It went so horribly wrong. The investigator had made her judgement before she came. I was with her for over 4 hours and half hours with just a 10 min break still have not had any lunch and still at work. Cant go home for my kids to see me like this. i am crying at my desk. It was pure torture watching her dismiss a whole file of evidence and accept the 15 witnesses against me. My staff team said I should have walked out but I kept hoping she would believe me at one point. I don't know how I am going to get through this nightmare.

I'm appalled that you had to sit and endure the third degree for over four hours, only for the investigator to dismiss your evidence. It must have been an incredibly stressful experience and I'm not surprised you're tearful - anyone would be.

You'll get through this nightmare with the support of those around you - don't be afraid to lean on them! Also, please don't hesitate to continue to seek support from us (either on the forum or via PM). Going by everything I've learned about you, you're an incredibly strong person and have kept going where most would have given up. You'll get through this, I promise.

I hope now that it's some hours since you posted that you're feeling a little better.
