Abigail, Davey I'm sending you and everyone else who's had a crap time of it lately a great big cuddle. Abigail go to your graduation you have worked really hard to get this far and it would be a shame that you feel you can't attend because of arguments with your mum. It's your day and it's your choice who you want to take with you. I know it's hard when you don't get on with a parent. I never got on with my dad. I am the youngest of five kids but my dad said for years that he was only the real father of the oldest two. Until the day he died I was always the runt of the litter in his eyes and that's putting it mildly. Hard luck on the job interview but there are positives to take from the interview, it has given you some experience for future interviews.

Davie student funding is rubbish getting a part-time job could be good idea just don't let your studies suffer be realistic on the amount of hours you can work a week. As for your little Stuart Jones antics be careful. Your right it's your business not the neighbours but have your friends shown any concerns on the number of partners you have had lately. Mud can stick and if your the talk of the uni for all the wrong reasons. It may stop a really nice guy wanting to get to know you because he's heard horrible rumours about you.

Thanks to Vicky for my great new banner xxx

Abigail, getting to the last 12 is a great achievement, you have learned something from the interview and now you have possibly found something more suited to you - all good.

I don't know anything abut your relationship with your mum, so I cannot comment on you not wanting her at your graduation. What you need to be sure of is that YOU don't want to go to your graduation, because if there is any doubt you should go, you really only get this one chance to graduate with your peers and get your photo taken in your gown etc.

Davie at the uni I work in we recommend a maximum of 12 hours per week part-time work during term time. To be honest a Saturday job would probably be ideal, 7 -8 hours would give you around £45 per week and still give you plenty of time for study and socialising. To me it sounds like your neighbours are being a bit homophobic - they are assuming that you sleep with everyone you have round at your flat. Everyone is allowed friends for goodness sake. I would put them straight, or Chloe is right, your reputation will be mud.

Thank you all for your, as usual, wise words of advice, I always appreciate you guys replying. I think Trinity, you've raised something that I hadn't considered. It's something I need to think about, do I not want to go to avoid upsetting people or do I not want to go full stop? I don't actually know although I've thought for a long time that I wouldn't be going.

For the past three weeks I've put Rob to the back of my mind, we've seen each other often but I'd gotten rid of any romantic ideas. Today he starts flirting with my again. I know what you're all thinking, I'm thinking it too. I couldn't stop those feelings surging again though. Don't worry, nothing happened! I have caught him staring at my booms during conversations though. I think I'm going to get one of those shirts that reads, "Talk to my face not my chest" He did say though that if I need somewhere to stay when my tenancy is up and I'm in-between places, I can stay with him. That's a very generous offer but obviously a recipe for something to happen again. I'm not suggesting that's what he wants but it's what will happen. Hmmm.
    Thanks CrazyLea
