    Dancing On Ice 2010

FORMER Corrie heart-throb Danny Young has signed up for the new Dancing on Ice.

Danny, 23, who played Mike Baldwin's footballer grandson Warren, has been rehearsing with some of the other celebs.

He has had a low profile since his last Street appearance in 2006.

Danny split from girlfriend Nikki Sanderson, 25, who played his on-screen lover Candice Stowe, in February. The pair were together for four years.

Two other contestants were revealed yesterday. Ex-Eternal singer Kelle Bryan, 34, and former Holby City actor Jeremy Sheffield, 43, were photographed heading to rehearsals.

They joined EastEnders actress Danniella Westbrook, 35, 1980s singer Sinitta, 41, Paul McCartney's ex Heather Mills, 41, and Gordon Ramsay's wife Tana, 36, for a session with ice-dance legend Jayne Torvill.

Other celebs due to take part are ex-England goalkeeper Peter Shilton, 60, and The Inbetweeners actress Emily Atack, 19.

The stars have been putting in some serious practice, even though the ITV reality show's launch date is still two months away. Mucca was even seen training with one of the prosthetic limbs which she has ordered especially for the show.

Jayne, 52, and a team of specialist skating trainers have been running sessions at an East London ice rink.

An insider said: "Most of the celebrities have never put on a pair of skates before, so the training has been a pretty scary experience for them.

"Jayne and the other trainers have helped put them through their paces and now they can't wait to get going on the show."

Hollyoaks actor Kieron Richardson is to compete in this year's Dancing on Ice, Digital Spy can exclusively reveal.

The 23-year-old, who plays troubled Ste Hay in the Channel 4 soap, recently embarked on an intensive training regime to prepare for ITV's annual ice dance contest.

A source told DS: "Kieron's already training hard and he's looking forward to competing against some of the great names in the lineup.

"He has a lot to live up to, though, if he wants to follow in the footsteps of his close friend and former co-star Chris Fountain."

Fountain - who portrayed Justin Burton in the show for six years until he quit in March - came second to Suzanne Shaw in the reality programme's 2008 run.

Richardson will line up alongside Eternal's Kelly Bryan, ex-Coronation Street star Danny Young, Holby City's Jeremy Sheffield and ex-footballer Peter Shilton.

Inbetweeners actress Emily Atack, Danniella Westbrook, '80s popstar Sinitta, Gordon Ramsay's wife Tana and Heather Mills are also expected to take part.

Speaking about the celebrity cast earlier this year, host Phillip Schofield said: "It's a great lineup. When I went down the list there were two or three times I went, 'Oh my God, you're serious'."

Dancing On Ice returns to ITV1 in January.

FORMER Emmerdale star Hayley Tamaddon is the latest celeb to land a spot on the new series of ITV1 hit Dancing On Ice.

The brunette, 32, who played Delilah Dingle, will join a host of others including Paul McCartney's ex Heather Mills and So Macho singer Sinitta on the celebrity rink this January.

It will not be the first time Hayley has been on reality TV.

She was runner-up to Corrie queen Antony Cotton on ITV1's Soapstar Superstar in 2007.

A source said: "Hayley's really excited. She is a really warm character and usually does well on these things.

"She has spoken to other Emmerdale stars who have taken part and they all encouraged her."

Boyzone member Mikey Graham has reportedly signed up for Dancing On Ice.

According to People, Graham is planning to compete on the show in memory of his late bandmate Stephen Gately, who took part in the programme two years ago.

"I want to do this for Steo and make him proud," Graham allegedly told friends. "I know he would have been there supporting me all the way."

Graham had reportedly already agreed to appear on the show when Gately died last month.

A source said: "When Stephen died bosses thought Mikey might not do the show and nobody blamed him. But they are delighted he is still doing it."

Hollyoaks star Kieron Richardson has been confirmed to appear on the programme. Heather Mills, Eternal star Kelle Bryan and Sinitta have also been linked to the show.

Bobby Davro has reportedly signed up to compete in the next series of Dancing On Ice.

The comedian and former EastEnders actor has been training for the ITV1 skating show since July, according to The Sun.

A source said: "Bobby is a well-known figure from his comedy days and built up a whole new fanbase on EastEnders. It will be great to see how he fares on the ice."

It is thought that Davro has been fitting training around rehearsals for his part in a forthcoming Cinderella panto in Milton Keynes.

Davro quit his Walford role as Vinnie Monks after one year in July 2008.

Dancing On Ice will return to ITV1 in January.

Former Coronation Street star Danny Young has emerged as the early bookies' favourite to win the next series of Dancing On Ice.

The actor, who played Warren Baldwin on the ITV1 soap, currently has odds of 4/1 with Paddy Power. He was first tipped to be part of the lineup last month.

Gary Lucy, best known for his role as Will Fletcher in The Bill, is another hotly-tipped competitor with odds of 6/1.

Meanwhile, Hollyoaks' Kieron Richardson (Ste Hay) and Boyzone singer Mikey Graham follow with odds of 8/1 and 10/1 respectively.

Sir Paul McCartney's ex-wife Heather Mills is currently seen as a less likely winner. She can be backed at 25/1.

Dancing On Ice's next batch of celebrity contestants have not yet been officially confirmed. The show will return to screens in January.

As viewers await the return of the hugely popular Dancing on Ice, the launch show provides an exciting preview of all the excitement to come, and a look back at the past stars from previous series.

Last year’s Dancing on Ice champion Ray Quinn will be reunited on the ice with his skating partner Maria Filippov for an amazing skating duet.

There will be a spectacular daredevil display from this year’s skating partners, and for the first time on the ice – the class of 2010 will be making their debut on the Dancing on Ice arena.

We will also introduce our brand new Ice Panel judge and celebrate the past four series of Dancing on Ice with guest appearances from the stars and judges who have made it the most spectacular show on television.
