In fact, as I understand it, police cars have Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) cameras on board which can flag up cars without a valid certificate. So any police car could have spotted it.

It doesn't need the DVLA to take action. The police can check any car on their database. It is not improper for the police to check on any car.
It is an urban myth that you have two weeks grace. You must not drive or leave your car parked on the road without a valid MOT. As soon as it runs out it is illegal to drive or leave it parked. If...
My coincidence meter exploded tonight?.
Incidentally, I did like it when Sally the Snob resurfaced. Makes a change to have a bit of comedy in all the dreary tosh that passes for Coronation Street these days.
If Nathan's attacker is discovered then presumably s/he will go to prison for a long stretch. Do we know of anyone who is leaving Corrie soon? Perhaps it was Simon?
Thank you but it was a rhetorical question! (Though actually he is 22 - born November 2001.)
The best 15 years of his life!? How old is he!!!?
Yep! I also found the idea that Bernie had now tracked down every Christopher Green stretching credulity. It's not exactly an uncommon name and I would guess there must be thousands of them in the...
Aren't they all?
Where would dear old Corrie be without coincidences?
Yesterday we had the one in a million chance of Freshco's being closed due to an electrical fault just as Bernie tries to use it as an excuse...

I'm not sure what you mean Of course I'm not. He can get a lawyer to defend him in court but free legal aid is means tested and, as we have already said, Roy is likely to be above the threshold for...
There is nothing more designed to calm Liam down and settle him back into a normal life than throwing Gary out.
Yes, but you can't get legal aid if you earn more than ?22,375 per year and I assume Roy receives more than that.
You can still get legal aid in criminal cases but it is means tested. I would guess that Roy's income would take him above the level where he could apply for it.

They must have taken note of the criticism that the whole premise of the series is a bit racist - i.e a White Briton having to come in to solve all their crimes!
Can't have anyone actually being happy in the new Coronation Street.
Oh no!
My name isn't Dennis.
It looks as though the comment has ben edited. It originally said, "so the toyah retcon to rape baby rose was to push her into an affair with nick"
Oh no. Run, Alya!
Yes, I know. But we are not allowed to post spoilers on this thread!
No, I don't think so. I believe this is leading to a completely different story concerning Toyah's past.
