Neighbours Spoilers October 2nd - 6th October 2017

Monday:

Terese confides in Susan, who then decides that she is no longer comfortable about conducting her wedding.

Meanwhile, Paige is shocked to learn that Mark and Elly have split up, and she seems to have alienated both of them.

Elsewhere, drowning her sorrows, Elly gets tipsy at The Waterhole and kisses Leo, not realising that Dipi has seen what is going on.

Tuesday:

Terese is still plagued with wedding doubts. After Susan offers her some advice, she is tempted to confess all to Gary, but cannot bring herself to do so.

Meanwhile, Hamish tries to drive a wedge between Tyler and Mark, subtly goading Mark to the verge of violence.

Elsewhere, Dipi has suspicions about Leo and starts doing some research into his background.

Wednesday:

Toadie is shocked to discover that Sam and Sonya were once more than just friends.

Meanwhile, Steph and Jack are unsure of where their relationship is going, but Steph indicates a serious commitment when she asks Jack to accompany her when she goes to visit Adam in Sydney.

Elsewhere, Mark's suspicions of Hamish grow, while Tyler considers changing his name.

Thursday:

Toadie accepts that Sam was unaware that Sonya was his wife when they began their counselling sessions, but cannot help feeling threatened by his presence.

Meanwhile, Jack has some doubts over Hamish's donation to the centre and asks Mark to seek clarification. Mark visits Hamish on the boat, but things go badly.

Friday:

Hamish plants the idea in Tyler's mind that his brother has anger management issues.

Meanwhile, Terese overcomes one problem, but another returns as she hears that Paul is returning to Erinsborough – on her wedding day.

Elsewhere, Piper invites Ben and Kirsha to step in as the musical act for the wedding, little realising that Xanthe is still carrying a torch for Ben.

Toadie Discovers His Psychologist Has A Connection To Sonya.

Just as things were beginning to look good for Toadie and Sonya, the couple hit another relationship roadblock.

This week in Neighbours, Toadie feels positive after seeing his therapist, Sam.

The counsellor has helped him work through his recent marriage issues. But Toadie is unaware that Sam has ties to his wife Sonya (Eve Moray).

And when Sonya runs into her old friend in Erinsborough, she can't hide her excitememt at the unexpected reunion.

"The loss of a marriage can have huge ongoing repercussions," Eve, 34, says.

"Sonya is still completely in love with Toadie. She just hates him for hurting her so much and ruining what they had."

Sonya is pleased when she's able to reconnect with Sam.

The two easily pick up where they left off. But Sam is shaken when he suddenly realises Sonya is the wife of his patient.

In a comedy of errors, as Sam tries to alert Toadie to his new information, Toadie misses his call. And when he tries to call back, Sam's phone is off.

So later, when Toadie stumbles upon Sonya and Sam, happily reminiscing down by Lassiters Lake, he can't believe his eyes. Cue awkward explanations.

Neighbours lawyer Toadie Rebecchi fears the worst next week when he spots his estranged wife Sonya looking cosy with her old flame Sam Feldman.

As we revealed recently, show bosses have cast Alex Tsitsopoulos in the role of Sam – the guy that Sonya could have ended up with years ago if their circumstances had been different.

In a classic soapy twist, Toadie (Ryan Moloney) has also unwittingly hired Sam as his therapist – spilling out his deepest and darkest secrets while completely unaware of Sam's true identity.

Next week, we'll see this very awkward situation come to a head when Sam sees Sonya (Eve Morey) for the first time since arriving in Erinsborough.

The pair's long-lost connection is quickly reignited as they catch up, but Sam is startled when he realises that Sonya is Toadie's wife.

Wanting to do the right thing, Sam attempts to get in contact with Toadie to let him know about this serious complication to their professional relationship.

Sadly, busy Toadie doesn't pick up his phone – leading to trouble when he discovers the unfortunate coincidence for himself.

Toadie is completely thrown to stumble upon Sam and Sonya making up for lost time together – fearing this will be a serious obstacle to his own hopes of a reunion with Sonya.

Paranoid Toadie also suspects that Sam worked out Sonya was his wife during their sessions and started feeding him bad advice to keep them estranged.

When confronted, Sam denies this – but is Toadie right to be suspicious over a possible ulterior motive?

Neighbours airs these scenes on Wednesday, October 4 at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5.

Not sure about the ethics but you'd think he would have to refer Toad to another therapist. A clear case of conflict of interest.
