Hollyoaks Spoilers 5th - 9th August 2019

Over on Hollyoaks, the final chapter of Laurie Shelby's dark storyline begins as Sinead pays a visit to him in prison.

Laurie (Kyle Pryor) makes contact with Sinead shortly before his sentencing hearing, having decided to plead guilty to his attempted attack on Diane Hutchinson.

Sinead (Stephanie Davis) is disgusted to receive a letter from Laurie and heads off to visit him at the jail, where a tense exchange follows.

Afterwards, Sinead is determined to forget about Laurie and seeks a distraction by arranging to attend a music festival with Lisa Loveday and Cleo McQueen. Diane tells Sami Maalik that Sinead needs someone to look out for her, so he agrees to go with her too.

The next day, Laurie attends court and is sentenced to four years in prison for what he did to Diane.

While being escorted away in a police van, he crosses paths with Sinead's brother Finn and they strike up a conversation. Finn admits his own crimes and urges Laurie to do the same.

When Laurie mentions Sinead, Finn realises who he is and lunges at him – and the chaos that follows causes the van to crash. Will this be the end of Laurie, or does it give him the opportunity to escape?


Hollyoaks airs these scenes on Tuesday, August 6 at 6.30pm on Channel 4.

Sami gives Sinead free tickets to a festival. She decides not to go to Laurie's trial tomorrow. Later, Sinead is disgusted when she reads a letter from Laurie and goes to visit him in prison.

Afterwards, a drunken Sinead invites Lisa and Cleo to the festival. Diane tells Sami that Sinead needs looking after, and he needs to go with her.

Meanwhile, Scott glues his eye shut accidentally whilst applying eyelashes for Anita Tinkle. Mitchell tenderly looks after Scott in hospital, but rushes off when Cleo comes in. Cleo confronts Mitchell over his weird behaviour around Scott.

Elsewhere, Prince asks Tom for his job back. Tom is reluctant but Peri helps convince him to take him back. Yazz is playing match maker between Peri and Prince.

Also today, Joel is feeling a little awkward about dating Goldie. Later, she meets him in the confession booth.


Tuesday 06 August 2019 at 18:30 on Channel 4

It's Laurie's day in court. He gets sentenced to four years in prison, and Diane is relieved that it's finally over. He is escorted into the police van, where Finn is. In the van, they strike up a conversation. Finn admits his crimes and urges Laurie to do the same.

As soon as Laurie mentions Sinead, Finn realises who he is. Finn lunges and attacks him.

Meanwhile, Lisa, Cleo and Sinead head off to the festival, sharing a ride with Imran, Juliet, Brooke and Ollie. Sami surprises Sinead and joins them.

The festival is in full swing as the partygoers run around the stalls. Sinead just wants to have a good time and is flirting with Sami. Later, Sinead kisses Sami.

At the same time, Juliet asks Brooke to try and buy alcohol for them as she looks older.

Elsewhere, Tom notices the chemistry between Prince and Peri, so he tries to separate them.

Also today, Scott wants to take Mitchell out for a lads' day to take his mind off missing Cleo.


Wednesday 07 August 2019 at 18:30 on Channel 4

Juliet is angry at Brooke, so she steals her purse.

Later, Brooke realises that she has lost her purse, so she goes back to the DJ tent to look for it. Whilst Brooke is in the DJ tent, she has a sensory overload. She falls to the floor and screams for help.

Meanwhile, Sinead is giving Sami the cold shoulder after yesterday. She leaves and hitch hikes a ride home.

Elsewhere, Tom is still clearly frustrated with Peri and Prince's romance. He tells Prince that Lily has only been gone a few months, and suggests that people in the village may judge him.

Also today, Mitchell goes to meet Scott for the lads' day, but it turns out he was needed last minute to perform at The Dog as a drag agony aunt! Mitchell helps Anita's agony aunt act by coming on to the stage and giving medical advice.

Sami rushes to help Sinead after Diane tells him some shocking news. Will Sami be able to save her in time?

Meanwhile, Juliet is overwhelmed with guilt once she sees Brooke.

Elsewhere, Goldie is furious at Prince.


Friday 09 August 2019 at 18:30 on Channel 4

Brooke spots her purse in Juliet's bag and is furious. She ends up falling out with Juliet and Ollie.

Meanwhile, Ste is set to go on another march, and Jonny sets him up with Jed again.

Elsewhere, Prince and his family plan his trip.
