Casualty spoiler: Connie blackmails Ethan when he discovers her secret

Connie can run from the truth no longer as symptoms from her condition catch up with her. After witnessing this, Ethan has worked out that the 'heart patient' Connie has been quizzing him about is actually her. He confronts her and asks Connie outright if she has cancer. She is quick to point out that she 'might' have cancer and shuts down any further discussion.
Later, what starts as pins and needles and a loss of sensation in her hand descends even further when Connie develops an embolus in her right arm.
With the prospect of losing her arm, Connie finally realises that she needs help. Ethan is adamant that Connie should seek help from the on-call surgeon, but she has other ideas – Ethan will perform the operation and she doesn't want anyone else to know about her condition.
When Ethan refuses, Connie quotes directly from the resignation letter she told him that she'd binned. He will perform the operation to remove the embolus, or she'll expose his secret. How will Ethan react?
Meanwhile, it's the day of Alicia's driving test – will she be able to steady her nerves?
