Essie (Kay Wragg) and Jac (Rosie Marcel) have mixed feelings when charismatic Kian (Ramin Karimloo) arrives at Holby, a whirlwind of transatlantic charm and aftershave. But despite quickly winning over most of Darwin, it’s Jac he has to impress.

Ange (Dawn Steele) tries to limit a family fallout following recent revelations, all the while treating a pessimistic patient determined to think the worst. Dom (David Ames) is irritated when Carole (Julia Deakin) starts work on reception.

Donna (Jaye Jacobs) is flattered when a new career opportunity is presented, but is she sure she wants the added responsibility? When Donna learns that Scary Sue (Angela Lonsdale) is also up for the role she realises that her friends’ encouragement might not have been entirely selfless.
