Willow surprises Toadie by coming to make sure Andrea isn't up to her old tricks, making it clear that she's here to support Toadie, not her mother.

Pierce scrambles to convince Chloe that it's Ebony, not her, who is the object of his affections. As she heads to The Waterhole for breakfast, she comes face to face with the couple. When Pierce leaves to attend some business, Ebony invites Chloe to join her to learn more about Pierce's ex.

Kyle and Gary both realise they've put in proposals for the tram and are eager to win. However, when Karl reads their proposals, he realises they have complimentary skills are decides to hire them both.

Determined to talk to Ian (infamous Park Bench Dude) about 'Karen', the Andrea/Dee lookalike he met in 2009, Toadie and Andrea head to Hepburn Springs. Meeting Ian, Toadie is struck by how genuinely thrown he seems as he recounts meeting the two identical women.

Kyle and Gary's unspoken competitiveness drives them to clash on the tram project. Sheila assures her they'll work things out as they continue to work together, but she's not sure. When Amy's isn't around, Leo witnesses the duo getting along fine, but when Amy returns, they revert to squabbling, their tension over Amy seeming to be a ticking time-bomb.

Toadie is rocked by the realisation that Dee may GENUINELY still be alive. But the real question lays in what to do next - does his proceed with finding the truth or does he just leave the past where it belongs?

Vance's deadline is up and Terese makes it clear she wants him gone. Vance eventually, says a hidden goodbye to Roxy before heading to Terese for their own goodbye

Chloe is suspicious that Ebony is only after Pierce's money, learning that one of the purchases she's encouraging him to make is a race horse - Rhapsody in Red. Not knowing the significance of it, she mentions it to Terese, who's immediately thrown, wanting to stop the sale.

Terese races to the stables to stop Pierce buying a hot horse, threatening to call the police when Vance refuses to cancel the sale

Bea's singing at The Waterhole continues to draw acclaim and Finn convinces her to record 'Sorry' as a single after people ask if it's available for download. Self-conscious, Bea says it's too expensive to hire a studio, but is shocked when an anonymous local has booked and paid for a recording sessions. Thinking it was Finn she panics, but he's adamant it wasn't him, so she turned her attention to Ned.

The truth is out as Paul fumes that Terese kept her past with Vance a secret. She explains that she wanted to protect Roxy, but Paul isn't happy with the response, saying she still could have told him, hurt that she's lied to him for a whole month.

Jealous of Pierce and Chloe's friendship, Ebony requests that Chloe help her furnish a new office at Lassiter's that Pierce has paid for her. Relishing in having Chloe act as her slave, Chloe's suspicions that Ebony is only after Pierce's money heighten

Bea is grateful for the support when Yashvi rocks up at Bea's recording sessions, but things get awkward and tense when Ned and Finn also turn up - Ned and Finn are disappointed to see each other there for Bea while Yashvi isn't happy that Ned's still close to Bea

Toadie is surprised to see Willow, who turns up on his doorstep wanting to make sure Andrea is not up to her old tricks. Eager to protect Toadie from her mum's manipulation, Willow makes it clear that she's here to support Toadie and make sure Andrea doesn't cause him more pain, letting Andrea know she's still angry with her for her past crimes.

During her second hypnosis session, Andrea seemingly recovers another vital piece of the story. She reveals to Karl, Toadie and Mark that Ian, the man who they believe saw Dee back in 2009, was staying at the Red Cove Hotel at the time he mistook Andrea for a woman named 'Karen'.

With this new piece of information, Mark is able to track down Ian. It seems like the pieces may finally be falling into place.

Meanwhile, Pierce scrambles to convince Chloe she is not the object of his affection, as Ebony stands by wondering who a mortified Chloe is. Chloe flees, sharing her embarrassment with Aaron and David. At The Waterhole for breakfast, Chloe again comes face to face with Pierce and Ebony. She tries to hide, but when Pierce leaves to attend to business, Ebony invites Chloe to join her – wanting to know all about Pierce's old flame.

Chloe gets the distinct impression that something isn't quite right with Ebony and later shares her fear with Aaron and David. They warn her not to get involved, but will Chloe be able to heed their advice?

Elsewhere, Kyle and Gary realise they have both put in a proposal for the tram renovation, and though feeling awkward about the situation, both are keen to win. But after reading their applications, Karl realises they have complimentary skills and experience and decides he wants to hire them both for the project. Will Kyle and Gary agree to work together?

Toadie is determined to talk to Ian and find out if 'Karen' – the Andrea lookalike he met in 2009 – is connected to Dee. Andrea insists on coming with him to Hepburn Springs and when they meet Ian, Toadie is struck by how genuinely thrown he seems. Ian recounts meeting the two identical women: first 'Karen,' then Andrea. Anxious Toadie finally allows himself to be convinced that this woman must have been his lost love Dee. There are still so many unanswered questions—but could this mean she really is still alive?

Toadie is desperate to know more, but he's thwarted when Ian claims he lost touch with Karen. A few years after he met her in 2009, she fell in love with a man and moved to South Africa with him. She no longer answers any of the contact details Ian has for her.

As they head home, Andrea comforts Toadie, sympathetic to the emotional turmoil this has put him through. Wrestling with all the new unanswered questions, Toadie reveals to his family that he doesn't know whether or not to pursue this further. If Karen really is Dee, then for some reason, she chose never to contact Toadie and has instead started a new life overseas.

Toadie resolves to take his time, deciding whether to continue pursuing Dee. However, the plot thickens when Ian visits Andrea in her apartment and she thanks him for sticking to her version of the story. She asks him to give her a mysterious photo… and then offers herself to him as a reward.

Meanwhile, Amy is concerned that Gary and Kyle might not work out as partners. Her fears seem to be confirmed as, from the very start, Kyle and Gary's unspoken competitiveness drives them to clash. Sheila assures a concerned Amy that these are only teething problems and the men will work it out, but Amy's not sure.

When Amy isn't around, Leo witnesses the father-son duo managing to put aside their competitive streaks and work well together. But as soon as Amy's back on the scene they revert to their squabbling. Will these two be able to make their new arrangement work, or is their tension over Amy a ticking time-bomb?

The toll of the past few days has left Toadie emotionally exhausted. He is rocked by the realisation that Dee may genuinely still be alive, and grapples with the dilemma of whether to keep looking into her whereabouts. But he has come to accept that Andrea genuinely wanted to help, and he wants her to keep helping find Heather. In light of this, Toadie invites Andrea for a supervised visit to Hugo.

While Shane, Dipi and Willow are accepting, Kirsha has reservations. But Andrea behaves well, and Toadie and Willow ask her to stay for lunch. It's awkward, but they push through it. By the time Andrea leaves, she feels that she's making inroads – even managing to snap a pic of her and Toadie with the kids. When she gets home, she sends it to Toadie with a message of thanks, leading to a pang of guilt for Toadie. It looks like a family photo… is he getting too comfortable?

Later, Andrea gazes at the photo Ian gave her. It's of a woman who looks just like her, with Ian and another mystery man. Just who is the woman in the photo – and what is Andrea playing at?

Meanwhile, when Vance's deadline is up, Terese makes it clear she wants him out of their lives. But he presses for a bit more time – he has a buyer lined up for the horse and needs a few hours to finalise the sale. Reluctantly, Terese relents. It breaks Vance's heart to leave Roxy. But unable to break up with her openly, he says a hidden goodbye with encouragement and warm words before heading to Terese for their own goodbye.

It's a tender moment for them both as they admit how the time they spent together has helped shape their lives. They share a long, tight hug… not realising Paul is watching.

Panicked at the thought of Pierce being lumbered with a hot horse, Terese races to the stables to find Vance. She threatens to call the police when he refuses to cancel the sale, but he knows she's bluffing. She cares for him too much to do that.

While Pierce is warned off by Chloe, Leo discovers Vance has stolen money from the bar. He lets this slip to Paul, who wastes no time in calling the cops and telling a disbelieving Roxy that her boyfriend has robbed and left her.

At the stables, Terese is alerted by the sound of sirens. She urges Vance to run, rejecting him with silence when he makes a last desperate attempt to convince her to join him. He flees, leaving Terese to reveal all to the police… except the fact that she knew Vance in the past.

However, when Paul learns Terese somehow ended up getting caught up in Vance's arrest, he demands answers. Realising the time for honesty has come, Terese confessed to a stunned Roxy and Paul that Vance was her first love. Terese's secret's out… and she has a lot to explain.

Meanwhile, Bea's singing continues to draw acclaim at The Waterhole – especially her song 'Sorry'. Punters have been asking if it's available to download, and Finn suggests she record it as a single. But Bea's reticent, covering her self-consciousness by citing the cost of hiring a recording studio as an obstacle.

When somebody books and pays for a recording session, Bea mistakenly assumes it was Finn and refuses to accept. Susan talks her into reconsidering, and when Bea tells Finn, he assures her he had nothing to do with it. Bea quickly realises there's somebody else on the street who wants to see her succeed.

Ned confirms it was him when Bea enquires, and Bea's concerned the gift is part of an effort to win back her heart. But when Ned assures her it's simply his way of doing something kind of his ex, with no expectations, Bea accepts.

Friday 14th June

Paul fumes that Terese kept her past with Vance a secret. She explains that she wanted to protect Roxy, but that's not good enough for Paul – it doesn't explain why she couldn't she tell him. He feels cheated – he followed her insistence on total honesty for a month, and she was lying to him the whole time.

Paul wants to know if her feelings for Vance were rekindled, and Terese has to admit she did feel a nostalgic pang for Vance but she didn't act on it. That's small consolation for Paul, whose hurt leads to a thaw with sympathetic Leo and a burgeoning bond with Roxy. Unable to accept Vance chose to leave her, Roxy lashes out at Terese, blaming her aunt for her heartbreak.

Meanwhile, Pierce's friendly affection for Chloe piques Ebony's jealousy enough to request Chloe be her lackey for the entire day. She's furnishing an office at Lassiters, for a new business that Pierce is paying for, and she enjoys having Chloe at her beck and call while she sets it up. Ebony's extravagant demands heighten Chloe's suspicions that Ebony is after Pierce's money.

Ebony learns from Sheila all the details of Chloe and Pierce's romantic history, stirring her jealousy. Ebony is increasingly suspicious that Chloe's after Pierce, and calls Chloe into her office to make things clear. Showing her true colours, Ebony turns openly nasty towards Chloe: she may have regrets about giving up her meal ticket, but Pierce is hers now… and she's not about to give up without a fight.

Elsewhere, Yashvi invites herself to Bea's recording session, and Bea's grateful for the support. But it turns out support was never lacking – Finn and Ned also turn up. There are strained feelings all round as Ned and Finn are disappointed to see each other, Yashvi's not happy that Ned's still close to Bea… and Bea just tries to focus on the music. Bea manages to shine during the recording session, and her troubled friends manage to unite in support. Bea's thrilled to be taking the next, small step in her hopes for a music career.

I struggle to believe that anyone would be interested in downloading Bea's song. Unless it's to use it as a cure for insomnia :hmm:

So unrealistic, who even downloads music anymore? Everyone streams on Spotify.

I believe that some people would download Bea's song. It's better than a lot of stuff I've heard.
