EastEnders has revealed brand new details on Alfie Moon's sad, new storyline.
Show boss Chris Clenshaw recently teased a "tough road ahead" for Alfie, who has had a quiet year on screen so far.
That all looks set to change later this month though, as Alfie tries to regain control of his life.
The BBC soap has released official teaser spoilers for the last full week of July, offering some early information on what's in store.
In scenes airing on Wednesday, July 26, Freddie desperately tries to raise a dejected Alfie's spirits as he continues to search for a job.
Viewers know that Alfie lost his job at The Vic back in May, when Elaine's plans for the pub saw him left surplus to requirements.
Things begin to look up for Alfie when he gets some much-needed good news that leaves him determined to prove himself, but a later bump in the road could mean this may not last.
Another key storyline during this week will see Stacey make a disturbing discovery about her online client.
Stacey's happiness a reuniting with Martin will be short-lived when he struggles to get on board with her cam work.
Martin finds his emotions over the situation eventually getting the better of him, but Stacey has bigger things to worry about when she receives a disturbing request.
Panicked afterwards, Stacey and Eve search for answers ? but what will they find?

Keanu Taylor is overwhelmed by bitter despair after his daughter's disappearance
Keanu Taylor is in bits after Lisa Fowler fled the country with his young daughter Peggy Taylor. Peggy's grandma brought the tot back from Portugal and Keanu thought that he'd finally have a chance to bond with the little girl.
Desperate to get back home to Peggy's mum Louise Mitchell, Lisa defied Keanu's demand that she let Peggy stay with him and she managed to give him the slip to get to the airport.
Determined to find a way to get legal access to Peggy, Keanu gets in touch with Eve Unwin's solicitor friend in the hope of finding help.
He's heartbroken when he's told that he'll have to fight for custody through the Portuguese courts and it could take years before the case gets anywhere.
After pouring his heart out to mum Karen Taylor, Keanu is left thoughtful when she wonders how Lisa managed to escape. She suggests that someone must have tipped her off about Keanu's plan to keep her in the country.
His head spinning after Karen's speculation, Keanu realises that she must be right. Spoiling for a fight, he confronts the person who he thinks betrayed him.
Has he got things right?
Martin Fowler and ex-wife Stacey Slater have grown close again in recent months and are slowly working their way back to reuniting.
The former couple split several years ago and both Stacey and Martin have had several relationships since, but none of them have worked out.
After arranging a romantic rendezvous at the allotments with Stacey, Martin is disappointed when Stacey has to let him down, explaining she's double booked herself and has arranged a chat with her private Secret Cam client.
Knowing that Stacey's cam work has helped get her out of a financial hole, Martin puts aside his own concerns to encourage her to log on with her client.
Offering to sit with the kids downstairs and wait while she makes the video call, Martin doesn't realise how uncomfortable the situation is going to make him.
When he overhears Stacey's flirty conversation with her client, it really gives him the ick!
Unable to deal with it, he makes his excuses and hurries out of the house.
Kim Fox insists to Patrick Trueman and Howie Danes that after her recent mental health troubles, she's knocking her 'Kimfluencer' channel on the head.
The pair are sad that Kim's giving up something that's given her so much confidence, especially when she explains that she's too broken to carry on.
Concerned about Kim's dark mood, Howie gently tries to encourage her to get her mojo back, insisting that she's a strong woman and the therapy will help her heal.
Howie's sincere words seem to do the trick and Kim gets back online to speak to her fanbase.
Will she get through her 'live' without breaking down?
Also, Suki Panesar feels humiliated after she realises that the 'romantic' cruise that husband Nish Panesar has planned is, in actual fact, Rocky Cotton's honeymoon that he lost in a poker game!
TUESDAY
Martin Fowler can't deal with Stacey Slater's other life
Martin Fowler's head is in a spin after sitting downstairs at the Slaters' and having to listen to Stacey Slater's flirty conversation with her Secret Cam client.
After rushing out of the house, Martin bumps into Jean Slater and explains what's happened. Feeling for Martin, Jean also admits she struggles to deal with her daughter's cam work.
Convincing himself that he's being over-the-top, Martin vows to get over himself and he invites Stacey to Walford East for dinner.
Things seem to be going well and when he confesses that he needs to move out of Sharon Watts' house, Stacey offers to let him stay at theirs until he gets himself sorted.
As they relax, they joke about dessert but Stacey says something that triggers Martin. She realises that he's far from comfortable with her cam work and, gutted that he's being so judgemental, she walks out on the date.
A frustrated Martin drowns his sorrows in the Queen Vic and ends up in a drunken fight.
Will they ever get their relationship back on track or are they doomed to failure?
Nish Panesar and Rocky Cotton make a shock discovery about Suki Panesar and Kathy Beale...
They walk into the Vic to find the ladies in the middle of a poker game!
It's a clear dig at the two men, as Suki recently found out that Rocky lost his and Kathy's honeymoon to Nish playing poker at his stag party. Suki was less than impressed when she discovered her 'romantic' trip away with Nish was Rocky and Kathy's sloppy seconds!
The game gets tense and the stakes get higher, with Suki putting the Greek cruise on the table.
His usual bullish self, Nish is insists that Suki will easily win the pot. He's stunned when a triumphant Kathy wins!
It looks like Kathy will get her romantic honeymoon cruise after all.
Kim Fox should be leaving for her therapy session but Howie Danes finds her doing a live broadcast for her Kimfluencer feed.
When Kim sheepishly admits that she cancelled her first session, Howie despairs, but he's relieved when she agrees to go to a rearranged session.
After sitting down with Dr Anwar, Kim tries to style it out and makes out she's perfectly fine.
Dr Anwar lets her talk and eventually she starts to talk about her issues.
Kim is grateful when the doctor offers her some advice on dealing with her anxiety and PTSD.
WEDNESDAY
Stacey Slater fears she has a stalker after unnerving messages from her private client
Stacey Slater has calmed down a bit after her row with Martin Fowler about her Secret Cam account.
Realising that he's worried she's getting involved in something dodgy, she explains to him exactly what happens in her cam work 'dates' in a bid to put his mind at rest.
As Stacey assures Martin that her mystery client is probably some "sad old man", Theo Hawthorne is sitting nearby eating his sandwiches.
Creepy teacher Theo has been secretly paying Stacey for Secret Cam dates while pretending to be her friend.
Overhearing Stacey's words, Theo is silently fuming and it's not good news for Stacey...
She's left stunned when her private client makes a shocking sexual request and she has NO idea that it's Theo.
Things get even worse when Martin makes an upsetting discovery on her laptop and the situation blows up.
Later, Stacey gets another message from her client, who makes it clear he knows all sorts of things about her private life.
Eve Unwin warns Stacey that her client must be someone she knows and she is TERRIFIED...
Kim Fox tells an alarmed Howie Danes that she's going to talk about her mental health struggles on her Kimfluencer channel.
When it's clear he disapproves, a hurt Kim accuses him of not being happy with the changes she's making in her attitude to life.
Keen to reassure her, Howie insists that he thinks her investment in getting well is amazing and he's only concerned about Kim's vulnerability after suffering so much with her PTSD and anxiety.
He points out that some people online can be really nasty and he doesn't want her to get hurt.
Will it make Kim think twice about opening up publicly?
Alfie Moon is down in the dumps trying to get himself a job after failing at every turn in the Square.
He was left struggling financially after new Queen Vic landlady Elaine Peacock fired him from his bar work job back in May before the arrival of Elaine's fiance George Knight and his daughters Gina Knight and Anna Knight.
Always looking on the bright side, chippie worker Freddie Slater encourages Alfie to use the power of positive thinking to turn around his fortunes.
Taking Freddie's words to heart, he tries not to dwell on the fact he's been turned down by a raft of local employers.
Alfie's go at 'manifesting' good luck seems to do the trick when he's contacted by the bookies!
Their first choice candidate turned out to be a no show, and as second choice, they offer him the job instead.
THURSDAY
Stacey Slater is on edge when she realises her private cam client knows all about her
Stacey Slater is petrified after realising that her private client on Secret Cam knows who she is!
Fearing she has a proper stalker, she tries to work out who it could be, as it's clearly someone who has had contact with her.
When she receives flowers from her client, she's even more afraid, realising that he knows where she lives!
Determined to help Stacey, Eve Unwin asks copper Jack Branning if the police would investigate that kind of case. Jack points out that if no actual crime is committed, there's nothing they could do.
Will Stacey work out that creepy teacher Theo Hawthorne is the culprit before it's too late?
Alfie Moon is all geared up for his first day at his new job at the bookies.
The former barman found himself out of work when the Vic's new landlady Elaine Peacock took a dislike to Alfie and fired him and it's been a struggle getting work ever since.
After being left miserable following countless knock backs from job applications, he was elated to finally be taken on at the bookies but he's looking forward to his first day.
Things don't go to plan, however, when he accidentally winds up his new boss Olga!
Determined to turn things around, Alfie asks Freddie Slater and Patrick Trueman to stage a mock fight so he can break it up.
Alfie's plan works like a dream and Olga is impressed that Alfie can handle tricky customers!
Will she work out that he was playing her?
Kim Fox is chuffed that her mental health advocacy seems to be working out well and it's given her something to focus on.
She's coming to terms with her anxiety and PTSD that have plagued her since her car crash and the coping strategies shared by her therapist really seem to be helping.
When she catches Denzel Danes fighting with girlfriend Amy Mitchell, Kim steps in. Amy is upset that Denzel has been looking at other girls online.
Kim encourages the teenagers to have an honest conversation about their feelings so they can come to a resolution.
The conversation also prompts Kim to look at how she communicates and she resolves to be more real with her online fans.
THURSDAY
Sonia Fowler is stunned when she realises she may be having a baby
Sonia Fowler has recently been feeling happy and settled with boyfriend Reiss Colwell.
The pair had a bumpy start to their relationship, however, after Sonia found out Reiss was secretly married!
He finally confessed that his wife Debbie was in a coma in a care home after suffering a stroke some years before.
Now it seems the apple cart is well and truly about to be upset when Sonia realises her period is later and she confides in Whitney Dean, worrying she might be pregnant!
Although she had daughter Bex Fowler in 2000 when she was just 15-years-old after falling pregnant to schoolfriend Martin Fowler, Sonia doesn't have any other children.
When Reiss arranges a romantic lunch, Sonia is touched. As the drinks flow, however, a tipsy Reiss reveals he's got no interest in ever having children and Sonia is hurt by his scathing words.
