How Love Island will work

Here is a brief of how this will work, although it may be added to/updated, so keep an eye out. Hopefully this will cover everything, but if not, feel free to ask Luna or myself

For 4 weeks, fun, frolicking and mayhem!!!

Who will be crowned your ideal couple?!

Pairing

From day 1 you must get into a pair of boy/girl. Upon arrival in the resort, you must choose a partner - this partner will remain your partner for the week. Then each Saturday, you must choose a new partner, one with whom you have not partnered with previously.

Daily Deciders

Every other day, at 10am, a new Daily Decider will be posted in The Beach Hut. This task MUST be completed by 8pm the same day and must be completed by each contestant. If one of the pair does not complete the task - it will be classed as not completed and punishment will be served. Some Daily Deciders may require the answer to be pm'd/emailed to either Fearne or Patrick, again by 8pm the same day. Fearne/Patrick will then post the answers given by each pair within The Beach Hut thread, as some of the Daily Deciders set, may have the same answers for each pair.

Daily Deciders will be a mixture of puzzles, brain teasers, challenges, treasure hunts and more and a reward will be given to the winners of each Daily Decider.

Evictions

There will be NO nominations. Evictions will be based purely on public opinion. Therefore, you will ALL be up for eviction each week - be warned though - expect the unexpected.

Each eviction vote will begin on the Monday, following the previous evictees reveal.

Love Shack

Each week a couple (not necessarily from the same pairing) will be voted into the Love Shack for the week. They will NOT be exempt from eviction and will return into the main resort in time for evictions each Friday. Polls for which lucky couple to enter the Love Shack will begin immediately following eviction on the Friday night and will end just before entry to the Love Shack on the Tuesday night.

The Island

This is where a daily thread will be created for daily posting. Contestants only to post here (or Fearne/Paddy of course).

The Beach Hut

Where daily deciders are set every other day, and where contestants come to air their views, make requests etc

The Love Shack

Only the couple currently residing in the Love Shack are to post in here. Lucky pairs will enter here on a Tuesday night and return to the main resort on the Thursday morning.

Aftersun

General discussions about housemates though there will be no whos who threads.

All eviction interviews will be posted here, after the interview has been posted, members will have the weekend to post who they think that contestant is (and only that contestant please, any discussions in posts regarding other Islanders will be deleted) before their reveal on the Monday night.

Got a couple of questions... With the Love Shack, do we get to vote for that, or is that something that the people who are in it vote for?

And with the evictions, do we vote for one girl and one boy, or just one person?

I dont watch Love Island, but i understand the rest of it apart from those 2 little things, so yeah.... Thanks :D

The "public" vote for the pair they wish to see in the Love Shack - the way that will work is each week, either a male or female vote will open following eviction on the friday - then on the monday morning, the vote will close and a new one will open with the opposite sex, then deciding who will enter the shack with the celeb chosen by you guys based on the votes up until the monday morning.

With the evictions, you vote for who you want to stay in Love Island initially. If you are lucky, we may even make it multi choice, just like on the "real" thing.
