The celebs will be split into groups of five across the first four heat weeks, as they face the Mystery Box Challenge and the task of cooking in a professional restaurant kitchen.
Once the bad cooks are eliminated and the numbers are whittled down, the final four will compete in a new stage called the Pairs Challenge, which involves the celebrities being split into two teams of two. Each team cooks the same dish, but a wall separates participants, so instructions have to be given vocally to ensure the dishes are identical.
We'll also get the Mass Catering Challenge, where the celebrity contestants will cook for masses of hungry workers in a very pressured situation, like the Royal Veterinary College and Chessington's World of Adventures, before returning to MasterChef HQ to cook for the judges and their critics, consisting of previous Celebrity MasterChef contestants and winners like Girls Aloud's Kimberley Wyatt and Rylan Clark-Neal.
The semi-final will also feature a cooking challenge as part of the 100th birthday celebrations of Antiques Roadshow, while the final will see the remaining celebrities cook for top chef Bryn Williams before getting their final chance to impress the judges with a three-course meal.
The BBC's commissioning editor Carla-Maria Lawson said: "Celebrity MasterChef is a real treat in BBC One's summer schedule. This series features a wonderfully diverse line-up of celebrities donning the iconic aprons.
"They're out of their comfort zones, but determined to make their mark in the MasterChef kitchen. Along the way, viewers can expect high drama served alongside some great food."
