Jessica Falkholt’s life support has been turned off, just one day after her family was laid to rest.
The family of four were travelling on the Princes Highway on Boxing Day, coming home from Christmas celebrations with family in Ulladulla, when they were involved in a horrifying car crash.
Her parents, Lars and Vivian Falkholt were killed in the crash, leaving Jessica and her 21-year-old sister, Annabelle, fighting for their lives.
Annabelle passed away on December 29th.
The 29-year-old actress portrayed Hope Morrison for two months on Home and Away in 2016.
She will appear posthumously in the upcoming Nine Network series, Bite Club as Emma Bailey.

There are conflicting news reports around this morning. It seems that Jessica's life support was turned off last night (Thursday), but early on Friday morning the Hospital said that even though her life support was switched off, she remains in a critical condition.
This was posted an hour ago on msn.com, from The Age (extract):
"Jessica Falkholt remains critical in hospital after Princes Highway crash
A woman who lost her entire family in a head-on crash on the Princes Highway on Boxing Day was still fighting for life in hospital on Friday morning, the hospital said.
It's understood the life support for actor Jessica Falkholt was due to be switched off on Thursday night, but early on Friday morning, the hospital said she remained in a critical condition.
The 28-year-old has been in St George Hospital with serious injuries since the fiery Boxing Day collision near Ulladulla, on the NSW South Coast.....

.....Home and Away, on which Jessica had her break-out role, posted on social media on Thursday night: "Rest in peace, beautiful Jessica Falkholt", with a link to a news story about her life support being turned off.
However, a police spokeswoman said they had not been informed of any change to Jessica's condition either by crash investigators or St George police......"
BTTB has also taken down the tribute they posted earlier, as being premature (see my previous post).
Unfortunately, however, it may just be a matter of time.......

Boxing Day crash victim Jessica Falkholt dies six days after life support turned off.
HOME and Away star Jessica Falkholt has lost her fight for life six days after her life support was switched off at St George Hospital.
The 29-year-old had been in intensive care since the horrific head-on Boxing Day crash that killed her sister Annabelle, 21, and their parents Lars, 69, and Vivian, 60........
...............Her death has been confirmed by St George Hospital.
“On behalf of the family of Jessica Falkholt, St George Hospital has been asked to advise the media and the community of Jessica’s passing today at 10.20am,” a spokesman said on behalf of the family.
“Jessica passed away from serious injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident on 26 December, 2017.
“The family has asked for privacy during this very difficult time.
At the request of the family we ask that the media understands that no further comment or information will be provided.
